Our House is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, right in front of the Salt flats around Tavira and Cabanas where the Algarve cycle path from the very east of the Algarve runs all along the coastline towards the western end. Enjoy the stunning sea views from the upper terrace, the covered patio in the little garden or take a walk into nature to watch various birds. The local beach is a 25-30 min walk away as well as the center of Tavira with its many restaurants, bars/cafés and boutiques.

This light filled penthouse offers every comfort. Though minutes from the town center, this is a quiet getaway where swifts and swallows love to fly by. The house is filled with original art, pop decor and features a 3 meter long sliding glass door onto a balcony with river views. The private rooftop offers 280 degree views of Ayamonte, the Guadiana River and Portugal plus a pergola, fantastic chill out lounge, BBQ, outdoor shower and lounge chairs. Originally this part of the farmhouse was the living area of the family, which can be seen from the authentic Portuguese tile floors, renovated wooden shutters and the ceiling ornament in the hallway. Now it is a very attractive, comfortable holiday home, adjacent to a Mediterranean garden and 4km to fishing village Fuseta, the beach and the lagoons of the Ria Formosa

It's central heating in every room makes Monte do Cansado a cozy retreat after long hikes or bike tours on cooler winter days. The big swimming pool with a magnificent view of the valley is shared with the guests of Casa do Pátio and the owners.

The house has 2 bedrooms (1 downstairs, 1 upstairs), 2 bathrooms, each can have its own space. The fully equipped kitchen (with coffee cups, wine glasses, knives, coffee machine etc ...) It is the ideal house for a holiday with family or friends.
