The Glass Room and Wooden Caravan are perfect for people who love wilderness, and nature. It's for adventurous souls, who thrive on wide open spaces, warmth and a simpler way of life. There are views that will take your breath away, rocks to scramble over and lovely long walks and horse riding to be enjoyed. As with other tracts of wild Africa, we do have some dangerous animals around, including elephant, the odd lion, leopard and venomous snake, although it is not often that we see the latter.

An expansive deck is shaded by a slatted roof, providing a comfortable spot to enjoy the nearly 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape. Sturdy wooden chairs are arranged to encourage relaxation while soaking in the natural beauty under a bright blue sky.

The Wonky House is located 9 kilometres off the main road from Timau town in a secure and serene farming village overlooking Mt. Kenya. In front of the house is a small area perfect for camping. Timau is in close proximity to various wildlife conservancies and national parks such as Ol Pajeta, Lewa, Borana, Samburu National Park and Solio Ranch. It is a great place to escape from city life! The Landing is an exquisite haven of tranquility and privacy. The photos simply cannot capture its true beauty. From the cottage, you’re treated to stunning views of Mt. Anne was incredibly responsive and accommodating, addressing all our needs seamlessly. The staff was also exceptionally helpful, ensuring that every request was met. Lenoit House is nice and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very supportive. Richard was particularly great. We would certainly wish to revisit the place when we have more time to relax, chill out and use the facility fully. A portion of the access road could do with some improvement. This is more of a community effort and not just the host. Thanks Lucy for hosting my family.

Our stay at Natasha’s Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. The place itself is incredibly beautiful, with stunning decor and a serene atmosphere that made us feel at home instantly. The heated pool was an absolute highlight—perfect for relaxing any time of day. We were also lucky to have Chef Harry, who prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners daily. Every meal was a treat, and it really elevated our entire experience. Natasha is a phenomenal host—attentive, kind, and always making sure we were comfortable. She made our holiday stay feel first-class in every way. The house was spotless every single day, and you can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining it. Another huge plus was the location—just a short drive from Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which made safari trips super convenient. And waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was the cherry on top. I genuinely can’t wait to come back. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate—it’s worth every moment!

Morijoi house must be the best in the area. The location is completely private, feels very exclusive. Built with very high end materials and fully staffed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, sofas and beds very comfortable, the highlight was definitely the sauna. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful place, exactly as in the photos, quite homely. Bright airy rooms and you can see Mt Kenya on a clear morning. The bed was also very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

A comfortable queen size bed is neatly made with crisp white linens. Two rolled towels are placed at the foot of the bed. A small refrigerator is positioned nearby, while a smart TV is mounted on the wall for entertainment.

Elizabeth’s place was AMAZING! The place is much better than the photos. Extremely clean, safe and very well taken care of. You have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to be ready to cook. Also in this place is where l had the best hot shower so far. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stop at Nanyuki and visit mount Kenya & Ngare Ndare Forest. 100% recommend 💚
