House matches the photos published, very clean, very nice. The garden was also very popular with our 2 dogs. There are many things to do and see in the area and we will happily return to Veronique's.

We cannot say enough good things about Christian’s Chateau! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a very peaceful start to our month long Europe trip. We loved greeting their horse and chickens each day and waking up in the bucolic countryside. It was the perfect gateway to Normandy and had everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. The bedrooms were huge and beyond comfortable and you literally have an entire castle to yourself which makes you feel like royalty! The decor is whimsical and Victorian and adds to the charm and homeyness Christian certainly treated us like royalty too; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave great area recommendations, and even left us a basket of delicious croissants for lunch! We relished the peace and quiet of this Airbnb and feeling like we could truly rest and escape the hustle and bustle. Thanks for being an amazing host and making our time in France so wonderful, Christian! :)

The house was beautiful, very peaceful and provided everything we needed during our stay My brother and I stayed to be close to Carentan Hospital to visit our father, the journey was easy and we made use of the Baguette machine most days. Yohann was a very good host and answered any queries promptly. Will certainly be visiting again.

The apartment matches the description and photos in every way. In addition, everything is in excellent condition and very clean (both the general condition, the shower, the kitchen and the appliances). Elisa is very friendly and responsive. Very convenient: the national road is 2 minutes from the accommodation, so you can quickly reach the historical points to visit. Thank you, Elisa! 😁

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

Particularly well-equipped house (kitchen, garden), the children had fun with the swing and the arcade machine. It is also in a very good location, quiet and close to Omaha Beach. The convenience store is a few minutes' walk away for extra shopping. Thank you Beatrice for the tips and responsiveness in our exchanges!

We had a great time with the family. Stephan welcomed us very warmly with a great island meal. Very large, and spacious accommodation, it offers a lot of activities, billiards / foosball / barbecue..... The jaccouzi is a big plus. I highly recommend!!:)

We really enjoyed staying at Veronique's place. It was a cozy and a quaint, yet beautiful space with a nice scent/fragrance, and all of the items/amenities that we needed for our two-night stay near Omaha Beach. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with almost anything that you could need, from honey to jams and preserves. Veronique brings fresh croissants and bread to the room each day; the fridge was pre-stocked with orange juice, several varieties of milk, and yoghurt, as well as butters and ham and cheese, and eggs. We managed to not only eat a great breakfast each day but also to have lunch from the supplied bread and ham and butter. This went above and beyond our expectations - and it was a huge plus, because it is a rural area and a drive would be required to get to a bakery or to town. We also really enjoyed the bathrobes, the very comfortable bed, and the lovely linens on the bed. Everything was convenient and comfortable. The water pressure excellent and lots of hot water.

I would 100% recommend this listing. Celine our host was responsive and very friendly. All the instructions were clear and the listing matches the photos and our expectations. Very well located and very well equipped, we were with small children, we had everything we needed. Thank you very much for this Norman break in this very nice setting.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Very nice apartment with a beautiful view. Very close to the port and the center. We were able to enjoy the shops and restaurants without taking the car. The apartment is very cute and very well maintained, Stéphanie is an available host who answers every question. I would not hesitate to take back this place when I return to the area.

A responsive and available host. Spacious and very well-equipped accommodation for spending time in the rental (swimming pool, ping-pong, petanque, billiards...). Outside, the village is quiet and the sea is quite close.

The house is beautiful, practical and very comfortable. The covered terrace is wonderful to enjoy breakfast outside and also to stay outside longer in the evening. The landing beaches are easily accessible. There are very good bakeries and all shops in Bayeux. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and can absolutely recommend the house!

A beautiful Chambre d'hôtes close to the Normandy coast. Chantal and her husband are very hospitable and welcoming. They provide a wonderful breakfast including homemade cake and many local products. We thoroughly recommend

The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

What a beautiful place to stay! This was a wonderful central location for exploring Normandy and a comfortable and peaceful haven for rest.

Staying at Christine and Mark's cottage is like staying with family. They were responsive and very friendly. The cottage is in farm country. Peaceful and beautiful. It makes you want to move there. It is centrally located, perfect for our Normandy D-day trips. If we ever return, I would choose my dates based upon the availability of this cottage.
