The Black River Oasis on the Middle Fork

VickiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very personable host. Met us shortly after arrival to make sure all was good. We very much enjoyed close easy access to the river and rock beach. House was very clean and comfortable. Kids loved the game room. Checked in on us several times and as we were checking out. Will definitely stay here again!
A charming home from the early 1900s is presented with a welcoming porch framed by trees. The exterior is completed with stone and brick accents, featuring a well-kept lawn dotted with colorful flowers. A cozy seating area is visible on the porch.

The Buckey's: A 1900s home

ChristineRating, 5 stars14 months ago
This place is an authentic 1900s home, so the wood stairs make noise. It's expected. It's like a trip back in time, with the luxuries of today. The neighborhood was quiet and felt cozy. We absolutely loved the space and are very thankful we were able to find it in short notice after our original space had to cancel. Jeri and Greg were very responsive, and even left us a gift basket for the eclipse! I'd definitely stay again in the future!

Cozy 3 bedroom Cottage

IanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was our second time at Linda's amazing cabins/land. We tried the larger cabin vs. the smaller one we stayed in back in October of 2024. Both cabins were perfect! Literally nothing negative to say! We love the location and our pup loves it too! We will be back in September :)

Lesterville home with access to Black River

Great house for our little friend reunion weekend! Beautiful location and super close to everything we wanted to do. Had everything we needed to make big group dinner and grill. Great place to enjoy nature and float the black river with friends!

*Private Black River Retreat*

JennaRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We absolutely loved the place. The view is amazing. It is less than 5 minutes from private, local access to the Black River. The mushroom hunting was awesome! The owner is super nice and helpful. He was extremely reaponsive. He was flexible at check in and told us we didnt have to rush at check out and to take our time because there was no one checking in after us. That was refreshing and very pleasent. Definitely one of the nicest hosts we have ever stayed with. Our only complaint is that the price is a little steep for Missouri, but overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
The front exterior of the home features a covered porch, with yellow chairs placed on either side of the entrance. Lush green grass surrounds the path leading to the door, while a stack of firewood is positioned nearby, complemented by vibrant trees in the background.
