Lovely accommodation set in the countryside by their organic farm. The cottage has great accessibility features, which is why we booked, but we really enjoyed the stay. It was spotless, peaceful and the beds were really comfortable! It felt like a home from home.

Carola was great in all the communication. The house was perfect for our family with 5 children of different ages. Toys and books and enough spaces for each to chill. Lovely outside space and inside all available that you may need. Would certainly come back

This beautiful house is in such a scenic peaceful location. Patrina gave us the most welcoming greeting I have ever received from a host, which was lovely after a long day of driving! There was a small issue which she promptly came back to the house and fixed straight away for us. I would highly recommend Patrinas house !

Myself and three family members stayed at Candlefort Lodge for a few nights. We were charmed with it. Mary and Brian present a fantastic apartment with all the comforts of home. There was a lovely, much appreciated welcome pack left for us which was a really nice touch and very generous. The kitchen is fantastically kitted out with all sorts of utensils. We cooked breakfasts in the apartment each morning, the pans were fab, nothing stuck to them. All four of us agreed the beds are very comfortable and we all slept very well. The showers were great and the water pressure was very impressive. Candlefort is set in very peaceful surroundings and the river passing at the end of the garden very picturesque. Mary made a point of coming to say hello and that was really nice. Check in and check out were eaay and the instructions were very clear. Communication from Mary was prompt. We would love to return to Candlefort at some point and we would highly recommend it. Thanks Mary & Brian.

This was one of the best - if not the best - Airbnbs I've stayed in. The space itself is modern, beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. Rita and her family are next door, but they give you as much privacy as you need. It so happened, though, that our little one and their little one became instant friends, so we got to learn how nice and friendly Rita and her family are. Rita is a very thoughtful host. I asked about using the washing machine and she left some detergent for us to use. I asked about umbrellas since it was going to rain for part of the time we were there, and she left a few for us to use. The surrounding countryside is stunning! It was pleasant and peaceful to eat meals in the Airbnb and look out at the lush, green countryside. The playground on the property was so nice to have for our 7-year old. It kept our kid entertained for hours, as well as the toys that Rita's child shared with ours. I highly, highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay here - was really easy to find the cottage, and it was so cosy and lovely. We all felt comfortable and the space was perfect for a few days retreat. Very car dependant in the area, but we were prepared for that and Sophia was lovely enough to let us check out later on the day we left! Would happily come back, and it seems like an area that would be incredible in the heat of summer.

Absolutely loved our stay here - set amongst gorgeous scenery and steeped in family history, Geraldine and Steve have done well in beautifully appointing the apartment with all the creature comforts and mod-cons needed … and the little extras that make it super special like the welcome goodies. Wished we could take that sunset view home with us and would love to visit again!

We are speechless when arrived at Mary place. The house is soo beautiful and also the surrounding! The flower, the garden and also Donkey! The house is really spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Mary even visit us to make sure us check in safely and good. She’s really friendly and fun to talk too.
