Sierra Nevada Ranch House

JerrittRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Pete was such an incredible host! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be coming back. It is so peaceful and so quiet. We saw a few deer and lots of little animals in the surrounding area. The trees are beautiful and the air is so fresh and crisp. There’s so much to do in the house with dozens of board games, a bunch of movies and shows on dvd, a gaming console, fire place was so cozy, the hot tub was easy to work and was a great way to wind down our day! Definitely take advantage of the local sites like Trail of 100 Giants. The local market is adorable and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to staying again soon!

Wow! What a great place! The indoor pool was the best. It was so hot outside so being able to swim without sun and UV exposure was absolutely amazing. I have already recommended this place to friends for future adventures. ❤️

Giant Sequoia Mountains Retreat Home

JebRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Ava is very responsive and proactive about communications about the house. The place is spacious and clean. Long ways to gas and food and Pine Flat is very isolated. Surprisingly number of houses for so little services. If you’re looking for a jump-off spot to some sequoias or are in town for work like us, this is a great option.

Annie's Piggly Pines Cabin

KaraRating, 5 stars120 months ago
This is a truly special place built and cared for by truly lovely people who have figured out exactly what matters in life. I don't know how else to express what an incredible experience we had staying here except to say that I will really, really miss Annie and Boz, along with their sweet dog, gentle cat, and the hilarious chickens and bunnies, even though I only knew them for a week. My toddler will miss them even more--he cried when we told him we had to leave this morning to come back to San Francisco. Annie, as though clairvoyant, showed up at exactly that moment with a bag she'd just created and sewn as a gift for him (they are such talented people!) and he's now been carrying it with him nonstop. They were so sweet to him and he LOVED every minute of his time there. So did I.

Sequoia National Forest Cabin/ATV ride

HunterRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Jim and Karen were so nice to lend us an ATV to help move our things when we decided not to test our car on the final hill to the cabin. They checked in on us frequently before and during our stay. The cabin is cozy and private, and there was plenty of firewood available. We had a lovely long weekend, and our dog loved the snow!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It is a cute quiet town with lots of hikes. It is remote so make sure you bring in what you’d need for your stay. The home was cozy and fit our group of 10 comfortably. Len was super responsive and answered any questions that came up. Thanks Len!!

Private POOL Cottage Games Grill Fire Pit Mtn View

Alicia’s place is a wonderful place to stay. You will feel right at home. We arrived to some delicious chocolate chip cookies, a hand written note, and water… which was great after spending the day in Death Valley. We did not get to enjoy the pool, due to limited time in the area, but the pool area looked very nice. You will be glad you booked Alicia’s place!

Dutch's Retreat - Your Death Valley Base Camp

LlewnyRating, 5 stars15 months ago
My family had a great time staying here for our trip to Death Valley National Park. We arrived past 8pm from a long drive from San Diego. It was pleasant to arrive at the place all warmed up already. Our daughter loved her little bunk bed and had no problem falling asleep after we arrived. We got up the next morning to catch the sunrise at Death Valley NP and didnt come back until the evening around 9pm. Despite not being at the retreat majority of our stay, it met our basic needs for comfort: kitchen, heater, beds, clean bathroom. We explored the grounds briefly Sunday morning before driving back home. It was a beautiful place. We had breakfast before driving back home at the Crowbar. Delicious food and the staff was so sweet. Overall fantastic place to stay!
