Only 15km (8km gravel road) outside Harrismith and a short drive to tourist attractions, Golden Gate, Clarens, Drakensberg and Royal Natal National Park. We are precisely centered between Durban, Johannesburg and Bloemfontein - perfect halfway stop. There is a lot of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, hiking, swimming in the dam and relaxing. Self catering.

Our home is situated in a central neighbourhood in the beautiful town of Harrismith, boasting with views of our scenic Platberg over the many treetops. We have two selfcatering units on our property, Protea Plekkie/Place (this listing, 4 guests max) and Protea Hoekie/Corner (seperate listing, 2 guests). Ideal for overnight stop when traveling the N3 or N5, or for a comfortable longer stay when visiting our area for business or leisure. Eastern Freestate charm is found in abundance around here!
