Cozy Cottage on South Shore. 30 min from Halifax!

A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. The secret beach house was exactly as described and very comfortable. It is surrounded by beautiful beach and peaceful environment. The place has well stocked amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Courtenay is a very gracious host and was able to accommodate our special request. She was very kind to provide the option of early check and late check out. This airbnb has high quality amenities and furnishings throughout. Courtenay is very friendly and responsive. Watching the ducks run through the yard was a pleasure to watch. They are adorable. Would recommend the place to anyone looking for an amazing guest experience.

We had a lovely stay at Melanie's cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. (bottle of wine was a nice touch) Melanie was very responsive to our questions and responded right away. The cottage is on a busy street but is relatively quiet when you are on the beautiful front deck. We would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area.

We were very pleased with our stay. Nicole was easy to work with and even willing to change our reservation at the last minute to add on two extra days. The location was very convenient for some meetings we were attending, but also not too far from Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay which were all recommended tourist locations. The apartment was quite and had a very nice view of a nearby lake. The studio apartment was bigger than I expected and it was nice to have a love seat and table with chairs so that there were comfortable places to sit besides the bed. Everything was like new.

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)
