Vacation rentals with a patio in Ilsandong-gu

The location was so good because it was very close to the station on foot, and most of all, the communication was good, so I had a comfortable stay!

Our first time in Seoul, and stayed at Mapo-gu, especially at Phillip & Peter's is really the best decision. Really love the neighborhood, close to Mangwon market and Hongdae, not too far from all the must see, but far enough from all the hectic. If you like to run/walk, this will be a great choice as well. At first we only planned to run towards the Han river, which was a very nice run, but then Peter recommended us to run along the stream nearby toward Hongjecheon waterfalls, absolutely great track with magnificent view in the end 🥰 You can continue with a hike to Mount Ansan afterwards, incredible birdview of Seoul with beginner friendly track. Would love to stay here again if we come back to Seoul!

Minji was a highly communicative and considerate host, ensuring a smooth check in experience with her proactive messages on the day of arrival. The accommodation faces a small hill as shown in the photos, which provides a sense of privacy even when using the balcony. The surrounding neighborhood consists of local residences, making it a peaceful and quiet place to stay. There are local restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores within walking distance, and parking in the area was hassle free. One thing to note: while Minji did explain this in advance, the elevator does not reach the top floor, so guests with large suitcases may need to make a bit of extra effort. Also, the ceiling is sloped and relatively low in some areas, which could be slightly inconvenient for taller guests.

I had an amazing stay at 혜수’s place! The accommodation was exactly as shown in the pictures, clean, peaceful, and with a welcoming, home-like atmosphere. I specifically chose this spot for its cleanliness and the relaxing ocean view, and it did not disappoint. All the amenities were thoughtfully provided, making my stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location was ideal: very central and close to a range of restaurants and cafes, which made it easy and fun to explore the area solo. Plus, it was close to the airport, which was a huge bonus since I had an early flight out of Incheon. 혜수 was a fantastic host, friendly, responsive, and always available to help. Even the staff at the convenience store downstairs were warm and helpful, adding to the welcoming vibe. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and relaxing getaway. The apartment was perfect for three adults. Roomy, very clean and well appointed. And there was a thriving, lively shopping and restaurant district steps from the unit. Plus, the green circle line subway, which we used every day, was less than 10 minutes by foot. The only downside is the area is a bit noisy at night because of all the young people out partying until the morning hours. Still, none of us had problems sleeping. Finally, the hosts were very responsive and kind. We would stay here again!

Woohee’s apartment was a great for my husband and I during our 4 day trip to Seoul. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet which was great to unwind after long days of site seeing and shopping. Also, lots of space and drawers for storage. Woohee & Erin were able to accommodate with self check in since our flight came in later in the evening. Again, they provided really clear instructions on how to access the apartment and videos on how to turn on the AC & fan since the remotes are all in Korean. Having the washer and dryer in the apartment was also a great feature. Apartment is walkable to a lot of nearby restaurants & metro stations. Several bus lines also stop in front of the building, including the airport limousine shuttle bus, so no lugging suitcases to and from train stations to the airport. Overall, amazing stay.

Very nice place, quiet and peaceful. Excellent location. The host very responsive.

The place was spacious, comfortable and modernly furnished. Home appliances look new and modern. Location is within short train ride to many tourist places. Owner is very responsive and even bought delicious bread on one of the days. Exterior may look a bit old but the interior is great and completely different and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was really pretty. I liked that it was clean and spacious. And is there a place in the middle of Seoul where you can enjoy a barbecue so romantically and privately? And it was free. It was really unreal. It was a really great place to stay. It was a trip that allowed me to escape from the stuffy Seoul for a while.

I loved how cozy this apartment was! Leah was also really kind to let us leave our luggage at the house before the check in time while we went out going about our day. Although the apartment is on the 4th storey without an elevator, I think the house and roof top access makes up for it! It is also located in a convenient location with Itaewon metro station being an 800m walk away. Highly recommend this place and will book it again when i visit Seoul next time!

The upper floor is a little cold because there is almost no heating, but it doesn't seem to matter unless it's winter. On the contrary, the bedroom on the 1st floor is extremely hot. It's a nice view, so it's nice to take pictures. There were fewer bugs than a house in the mountains. There are a lot of tableware and it's well organized, so I used it well. I think it's because the landlord usually lives in the space, so it was useful because it was equipped with basic seasonings. Two men who were loitering around had minor skirmishes here and there, but the emergency cabinet was well stocked in the living room, so I used it well. Thank you.

It was such a comfortable and unique stay! The design was well done and the space made you feel at ease right away. We were so impressed with the space and Afang was so kind and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Would love to come back again!

It was a beautiful and emotional accommodation as pictured. There were so many emotional points everywhere. Recommended if you like taking pictures! There were enough tableware, so I didn't have to bring anything, and the amenities were provided based on the number of people. The bed was fluffy, so I slept well, and for a detached house There were no bugs. I spent an emotional day watching the stars and the lights at night.👍

It’s a beautiful house, that you can actually live in with all the amenities provided! Nice design touches, especially the bookshelf, and view. Given it wasn’t our first time in Seoul, we didn’t mind a less central location — please don’t dismiss the uphills around the neighbourhood, on hot days they can be very challenging!

A quiet environment, a park is also close by, so you can take a walk, and the individual terrace has a great atmosphere. It's the first time I've seen a place with thoughtful consideration and a beach.
