Monthly Rentals in Île Bigras

I stayed here for 3 months and had such a special summer! I was looking for a little getaway that was still close to Montreal and this was the perfect place. Suzanne's home is a beautiful testament to the decades of love, care & attention that she's poured into it. I loved watching the chickens from the kitchen window and the sun reflecting off the stream and the beautiful garden below. The river is only steps away and I spent a lot of time there. Suzanne is the only host I have ever encountered who left groceries in the kitchen for me upon arrival which was so appreciated after a long international flight. I was also gifted fresh eggs from her chickens and raw honey from her bees whenever there was availability (both were literally divine!). I felt so held in this apartment and I would definitely return again in the future!

Ghislaine's place is in a beautiful setting close to the river. She gave us a warm greeting and a full tour which settled us in. It was homely and comfortable and on a quiet street. We would recommend it.
