The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

Ferienhaus " Ena's Huus "

Our cozy vacation home is located close to the center in a single-family residential area directly on the "Ostfriesland hiking trail". It has a big garden in a quiet south-facing location with two sitting areas, one of them covered. You can enjoy the sun and nature there and relax. In addition to tables, chairs, and umbrella, guests have two rolling loungers on their disposal. In the adjacent area, rabbits and chickens feel comfortable, which, if desired, also deliver the daily egg.

The cottage of Oogstwold

In the cottage of Oogstwold you can relax. It is the perfect base on the outskirts of the Oldambtmeer. It is very characteristic, old and new elements come together. The cottage (75m2) is completely independent with its own parking space and front door (including the possibility for contactless check-in). The cottage can accommodate 2 to max 4 people. Due to height differences, steep stairs and varying ceiling heights, it is not accessible to people with mobility impairments.

The brick house from the 1930s, which is so typical of East Frisia, was extensively renovated in 2024. Two bedrooms with a total of 5 beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room area leave nothing to be desired. There is also a small private garden with a terrace and private driveway. Located directly by the forest, our vacation home offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation in the heart of East Frisia. In 15 minutes you can reach the Aurich city center, the Tannenhausen bathing lake or the climbing forest by car, and in 45 minutes the North Sea. The large garden and the private forest directly at the vacation home offer not only peace and quiet for relaxation, but also plenty of space for children and dogs (no fence) - who are welcome here!

Beautiful cottage on the Ihler Meer

The cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac location on the Ihler Meer. Shopping, pharmacy, the monastery of the Ihlower Forest, as well as the swimming beach of the Ihler Meer can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bike. Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.
