Monthly Rentals in Ieromonachos

Katerina was a lovely host, met us and gave us lots of information. The house was very well equipped and comfortable beds. Very central location with 2 supermarkets within a few metres walk. Main square 5 minutes walk away. Far enough out to be quiet and the shutters are a god send. Thank you for your warm welcome and a lovely stay ♥️

The house is lovely, clean, comfortable and spacious, with a beautiful view from the veranda. The AC is situated at the top of the stairs and keeps the interior very comfortable in the heat. There is a cleaner who comes in every few days with fresh towels and bedding. We were met at the port by the host, Ms Mika, who took us to the house and showed us around. The house is on a hillside, so the walk along the road down to the beach is quite steep, but doable in 5 -10 mins. Very convenient. I would suggest some transport, which you can hire on Paxos to access the rest of the island and get to the Eco Market for supplies. Paxos generally has occasional power cuts and water supply is limited. Our water tank ran dry, but a quick call to Ms Mika and someone came to refill it within minutes. ( I would recommend being quite economical with the tap water - short showers etc.) The Eco Market sells bulk packs of bottled water. The house was a great base to explore the island!

Christos helped make this stay so easy for us. From his mum picking us up from the ferry port, to his dad taking us back to the port to get the ferry home, it was a real family effort to make this a great stay. The house is on the edge of the main town and close to the bus stop to get to the other parts of the island. The house is minutes away from supermarkets and the main town where there are countless great restaurants and a nice relaxed feel to the place. A very well maintained house that was perfect for our needs. I would thoroughly recommend this house for anyone staying in this beautiful part of the world.

The room at Vasiliki's place was much more attractive than the photos let on! Very clean and cozy space, with Kareklas Taverna and Dolos Taverna just few minutes walk down the way. There's also a small convenience store near Dolos Taverna if you're looking for some basic items (water, snacks, local beer). I walked about 1km to get to Paralia Kaki Lagkada beach, and that uphill walk home was a delicious workout! Rental vehicle, though, is highly recommended for convenience of transportation, but the bus stop for Fontana is also right there in front of Dolos Taverna. They checked in with me every so often to see if I needed anything, and even kept me informed of the weather forecast that helped me make important travel decisions. So grateful for Vasiliki and Angeliki and look forward to another visit with them.
