Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Idra

We very much enjoyed our stay on the unique island of Hydra. It is also a fantastic house with beautiful decor and beautiful garden very quietly located with idyllic sea views and the Kamini district. Kerry and Maria gave us a lot of great tips and always responded quickly. The house has all the comforts. Also handy that there were bottles of water available for us. It is really a top location 5 minutes walk from the beach and some nice restaurants and 15 minutes from the center.

We loved Elena's place. It has a lot of charm, it is well designed and thought through. It has all that one can need, in a beautiful environment, with lots of things to do. Thanks a lot Elena for letting us stay in such a nice place.

Lovely location away from the main town and with great views over the hills and sea. Hydra itself is a beautiful island but you need to be prepared for lots of steep steps and walking up and down on cobbles. Overall we loved our stay and look forward to returning ❤️

Amazing position and pool just a blessing. The house is just in the perfect spot and the view is outstanding ! First time they rent and the host was very present over the messages with instructions and recommendations. The inside is simple and organized and the outside could be more furnished. I am sure they would improve on this and make the place more and more exceptional. Enjoy!

What a lovely stay! A perfect location and the hotel’s breakfast was fantastic. The hotel staff was incredible and offered ongoing support throughout our stay from logistics to dining reservations. A wonderful stay overall.

We had a wonderful time! The host was wonderful, kind and very responsive. Check in went very smoothly, we came with our three children who enjoyed the place so much. The location is just great! Alexandra’s place is an absolute gem! You would need to climb the hill in order to get there but it is completely worth it as the view is stunning and the area is very calm and relaxing. The house itself is well designed with local material and neutral colors and you will find everything you need. Alexandra is a great host, very responsive and a real problem solver. I will definitely be back in Hydra and stay at Bart house!

Great access from a very popular pier. The road to the center was the best experience. The kitchen is fully equiped.

Such a lovely, traditional apartment in a gorgeous part of Poros. We loved the sea views, amazing local tavernas and nearby Love Beach! Vanos was a responsive and friendly host and we'd definitely recommend - Poros is a breath of fresh air compared to some over-touristy Greek islands.

A hidden gem right by the sea. The property of Georgios is very unique and beautiful, The old olive trees in the big garden are very special. The terrace was amazing to just sit on and watch the Ocean. The close by beach and Tavern make it perfect! We loved this place to start off our Greece Vacation. Georgios is also very nice and easy in contact- we arrived very late, no problem for him. Thank you!

Christos’s place was perfect for us. A spacious apartment with full amenities. Very cosy and beautiful. Comfortable bed in big bedroom. Right on the port, no need to hike up the hill. 1-2 minute walk from most restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. The host was very responsive, helpful, kind and generous. Our ferry out from Hydra was rescheduled and they let us checkout later with no problem. The view from the apartment is even better than the photos. The people of Hydra are very welcoming. There are beautiful places to walk around the island with breathtaking views. We couldn’t have hoped for a better place to stay for our vacation. Will definitely be back.

This apartment exudes a wonderful aura of warmth and hospitality. It is the cleanest home I've ever encountered. Every detail, from the bath plug to the french press plunger, gleams! This, along with the tasteful decor paired with the impeccable functionality of the kitchen - stocked with every utensil and appliance one could want - reveals the owner's considerate and caring attention to the experience of his guests. Kostas, the property manager, is outstanding! He was so proactive and accommodating, meeting me at the port and helping me with my many bags after a big day of travel (predicting I would need help), organising a car for me at the last minute, and responding to my every request kindly. Beyond his professionalism, he's also a very knowledgable person. When I asked him questions it was clear he is rich in knowledge of Aegina as well as the history and politics of Greece, which I really valued.

Cathrine is the kindest and kindest host I've ever met and I love her! Although the language doesn't work (I don't speak Greek and English), she still enthusiastically entertained me, we talked a lot with the translation app, and we really appreciated the fresh lemonade, eggs, and dessert she sent. It makes me feel warm at home, thank you! The house was also absolutely fantastic and had a beautiful view which made me feel relaxed. You can walk to the supermarket and the town, there are nice restaurants and I enjoyed this trip, maybe I will come here again in the fall with my family!

I can’t express enough just how brilliant this AirBnB is. Christos is extremely helpful, a fantastic host. The images don’t show just how lovely and homely the Airbnb is, or how perfect this location is. The pristine sea is quite literally on your doorstep with canoes available for sunset trips. It’s extremely quiet, with two lovely tavernas within a few minutes walk available to enjoy delicious traditional food.

We had the most wonderful stay at Maria's villa for our family vacation. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from fantastic restaurants, two grocery stores, and two bakeries, which made everything incredibly convenient. But the true highlight was the breathtaking view of the sea, which we enjoyed every single day. The villa itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. Maria was incredibly generous, leaving us a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Jimmy was outstanding—he met us at the port, helped us organize taxis, and shared great local recommendations. He also kept us updated with anything we needed to know, including local news like power or water outages, which was really helpful and reassuring. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This airbnb has a wonderful terrace with gorgeous views over Hydra. It's just 5 mins walk from the port but high enough to be able to see the sea. It's been refurbished to a high spec and feels very luxurious, everything was pristine. George was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

Amazing host, very helpful. We all really loved the property. Kids enjoyed the football court. Very neat and clean. Enough parking space. View from the house is mesmerizing. We had a big group of around 15 people including kids. We had a lot of fun there.

Nikos’s place was once of the most beautiful locations that I’ve personally stayed at. He was very responsive and catered to our families needs throughout the trip. I can honestly say that both Nikos and his wife made our stay that much more special. I would recommend booking with Nikos 1000x over again. I have been using Airbnb for over 10 years now and I can honestly say that working with Nikos has been one of my best experiences to date. So much that my family is already thinking of the next time when we can return. If I could give 6 stars I would. Amazing host and amazing experience all around!

George is the most kind and thoughtful host you can hope for. My friends and family stayed at his very comfortable and well situated home in Hydra for a week. He is a most hospitable host who provides great local insight as to where to dine and where to swim and everything in between. He even went out of his way to source (and expertly pack) prized honey produced on the island for my family to take home (a particular feat as honey production quite low this year!) The house itself is on a serene street, next to one of the best restaurants in town. A short walk to the port and no steps climb. Highly recommend ! We all look forward to our return stay.

Athanasia was the most thoughtful host we have ever had! From meeting us at the port and arranging for our baggage to to be taken up by mule to having a fully stocked fridge, including ample water and supplies! She clearly cared very much that we had the best time and sent many recommendations and was always at the end of the phone if needed. The house is beautiful and traditional to the island with large terraces with amazing views. Anyone who has been to Hydra will know that the best places require a bit of a hike and this is no exception, we traveled with our 3 year old and it probably was as the limit of our comfort level with regards to getting her up and down and keeping an eye on her when outside as the terraces have unprotected edges- which is standard on the island. Worth keeping in mind if you have small children. Those with children who are a little more adventurous will get the payoff of staying at this truly beautiful and peaceful house and island!

We spent 5 extremely happy days in Kamini and have no hesitation in fully recommending the house. The villa is well situated being close to several good restaurants, a few minutes from the beaches and a short walk to Hydra harbour along the beautiful coastal path. It is easily spacious enough to cater for 7 people. we arrived late in the evening and were particularly impressed by the generous breakfast provided by the owner.
