Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Icaria

Felt at home right from the very beginning. Maria was kind enough to welcome us at the port late at night and walk us to the apartment, where she explained everything we needed to know. Her kindness is actually the first thing that comes to mind - so I can highly recommend a stay at her apartment!

The small stone house is located directly on the sea. The terrace is beautiful to linger on. We were there in May - about two cars a day passed behind the house - otherwise only the sound of the sea and birdsong. The place is rustic, cozy and comfortable. If you want to spend your vacation in absolute peace and seclusion - then this is the right choice. We will be happy to come back. We were also lucky to get a regular visit from a red cat lady. She behaved very respectfully, but was very happy about small snacks. We have provided a food and water bowl that can also be used in the future. Please remember to shop before arrival - the nearest supermarket is in the nearest village. We would also like to recommend two restaurants - first Arodou in Xilosirtis and Cafe on the Island in Magganitis. Try the cheese with honey, wonderful tzatziki and tsipouro (with caution) in the cafe.

Such a beautiful unique place away from the hustle and bustle but still central. Super nice reception. Both breakfast and dinner are highly recommended and are prepared with love. The ambiance of the associated restaurant is incredibly beautiful! Thank you for everything. We hope to come back soon.

There were three of us. It was a little difficult to find, but if you do exactly what Maria says, you'll get there. The space was clean and equipped with all the comforts. We had a great time. Sitting in the backyard every night watching the beautiful setting sun. We were allowed to pick and use as many oranges and lemons as we wanted. And we've done so. Delicious juice in the morning. We had good contact with our host. If we wanted something that was taken care of right away and we could ask anything. It's well worth going there. Upstairs a practical spacious master bedroom with a private bath. Downstairs a small bedroom with a single bed and in the basement a bedroom with two single beds is hidden. Is nice for children. All in all it was good to stay. I definitely recommend it.

nice house, large balcony and nothing was missing. have been going to Greece for 30 years for vacation and if you like peace and quiet in the countryside as well as the sea, then this is a very nice location. is really enjoyable.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Myrto’s place. The space is beautiful with classic terrazzo floors and charming details. The location is perfectly situated overlooking the small beach in evdilos. It is a very short walk to where there are many shops and restaurants. Extremely peaceful and comfortable place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Stamatis place! Koumeika has been the best location for us - you can explore all island from here, it's an authentic, beautiful village without many tourists and the people are very welcoming. You have a great restaurant, cafe and mini market in town. the apartment has an amazing view , is perfectly equipped and very clean. Stamatis is a great host, was very helpful and friendly and has the best advice on where to go and what to do on the island. Thanks for verything Stamatis, we truely loved our stay!

This is the place for families to stay on Ikaria. Spacious kitchen diner, 3 bedrooms and incredible outside space. The pool is excellent, with endless views of the Aegean sea, and occasional glimpses of distant Cycladic islands. The location is also tremendous, a very short walk down to a lovely little beach with good snorkelling around the rocky coast. Nanouras is a very quiet hamlet with no shop or taverna, so it's peaceful and easy to park. It's only a short drive (or bike ride) up the coast to Nas or Armenistis for bars, restaurants and mini markets. There is also a fairly new (paved) road up to the interior villages very nearby, which are well worth visiting. Christos the host and his family were responsive, friendly and helpful. His mother made us some pasta one night! Altogether a complete holiday rental, thoroughly recommended on every level.

This is a little gem of a place! A little bohemian and relaxing with beautiful views of both sea & mountain. The pool is fabulous but as the lovely beach is a 5 minute walk you are spoiled for choice. The bathroom was the only slight issue, clean & adequate but very small. I will definitely be coming back.

the cleaning of the house was great, daily cleaning was done and our garbage was taken away. The view of the pool was very nice, the grocery store, the beach and restaurants were a few minutes away by car. Her communication and hospitality were nice... Perfect place to stay in Armenistis, ikaria.

Antonis and his family are friendly and accommodating hosts, also the housekeeper was very friendly and discreet. The complex seems even more beautiful than in the pictures, it is very quiet, several small houses in a well-kept garden with many olive trees. Everything was perfectly clean. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back again.

Michealla is very friendly and helpful. The house is very clean, kitchen equipment is enough and clean to use. It worthed staying

My husband and I stayed at Orestis's place for 5 days. It was a perfect location for beautiful hikes and walks, on both footpaths and the roads. The house itself is filled with history and with love, and it provided us with a wonderful home base. The table outside was lovely for all of our meals and restful times. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were able to cook our meals. The village square is just a few steps away, the mini mart had what we needed, and the bakery is wonderful. Orestis responded to each of our questions promptly, and gave us helpful information and resources. Though in a quiet, mountainous setting, the village of Evdilos is just a few kilometers away. I highly recommend this traditional stone house for a wonderful Ikarian experience. Orestis is an attentive and kind host!

Lovely ten night stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our time. We enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard, cooking meals in the well equipped kitchen.
