El Hanok Stay was newly built as a private hanok guesthouse, which was opened in April 2023 after a year of remodeling construction by purchasing a 1975 house in May 2022. We tried to add more modern convenience while adding the style of hanok, and tried to add color by adding European style. It is located in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, and it is a location where you can travel to tourist attractions in Gyeongju such as Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), Cheomseongdae, Donggung and Wolji, and right next to it, there are restaurants (next to Cheongonchae) and cafes (olive) in Hwangnidan-gil.

An indoor pool is featured under a sloped wooden ceiling, with light filtering through overhead openings. Water gently cascades from two wall-mounted fountains into the clear pool. Greenery is seen climbing along one wall, adding a touch of nature to the serene space.

Gyeongju Seongdong Market is right next to it, a 3-minute walk away, so it was the best place to buy food or buy finished products. It's a shame that the backyard table is small and the bathroom is small.

Gorgeous Hanok in a fantastic location to explore Gyeongju. We had an excellent time. Easy walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. The off-street parking for our hire car was very convenient. The large bath and swimming pool were excellent features and made for very relaxing evenings. The host was very responsive and helpful. Thank you!!

First of all, the accommodation is so clean, tidy, and the area around the accommodation It was a little scary because it was very dark at night, but That's how quiet and cozy It was a romantic space ~ I thought it was a little expensive. It exceeded my expectations to the point of wanting to visit again next time!

We had a great stay here. just a 5 min taxi away from Hwangnidan-gil which had lots of restaurants and shops. Host was really proactive and helpful as well, we had a little trouble turning on the heating and she came over right away to help us with it! The space is very clean and new, exactly like the photos. Bedding was clean and comfortable, she even provided snacks and amenities and toiletries for us! TV had YouTube access, and the living and dining space was very spacious for us to hang out. Highly recommend.

It's much better than the photos, and the host is friendly and the accommodation is full of consideration. I hope there are plenty of❤️ these accommodations! As soon as I entered, I was amazed. There were no unnecessary props, and it was very neat and tidy. I had a very happy day with the interior and the arrangement of the props that didn't leave my eyes bored. :) You have to go! Absolutely!

While I was having a hard time finding a place to stay a little late while traveling on a holiday, this popular place I booked it because it was the only one left, but I was really satisfied. I liked that it was a little bit away from the main tourist attractions, and if the physical strength and weather helped, it was possible to walk to Cheomseongdae, Daereungwon, Donggung and Wolji, and Hwangnidan-gil. The accommodation was beautiful from the front door, and the small yard was so nice to enjoy. I recommend it because it's a listing I'd like to use again next time.
