The house is absolutely amazing. It is full of character and interesting architectural and decorative details. The rooms are all very comfortable and spacious. We stayed with a large family group and the house has several lovely communal spaces, but also enough bedrooms and different areas for people to have their own quiet space as needed. The garden is beautiful, and excellent for children to play in. Valognes is a great little town with the essentials within a 10-15 min walk (bakery, supermarket, bank, train station) and there are many beautiful beaches within a 30 min drive. Catherine and Anne were extremely responsive and helpful, thank you! It was the perfect summer stay for us.

We were received very hospitably by Anne. The beautiful gardens and the cute cats were a real added value for our stay in the beautiful and cozy cottage in this quiet and beautiful place! Despite the less good weather, we had a very nice stay.

A modern kitchen space features a curved bar counter with two woven stools. Natural light floods the area through large windows. A bowl of fresh fruit sits atop the counter, while cabinetry and appliances are organized along the walls, providing a functional cooking environment.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the aesthetic quality and cleanliness of the house, the decoration is done with talent. Our hosts hosted us super well, our dog Loona too, which made us feel right at home and during our stay it was the case. Catherine and her husband are always attentive with a smile. I would add that the directions to the area were very helpful and it helped us a lot. We'll be happy to go back without hesitation. André

The welcome and the house are full of charm. Isabelle was pleasant, with a real sense of good manners. Everything was done to make us feel comfortable... we received cookies and a bottle of cider, which is rare! The house is true to what is advertised: it is clean, very pretty, and without a doubt, it was even better than in the photos. Even if there is no TV or that sort of thing, you don't get bored because it's in the heart of equally cute and picturesque places. The city center of Valognes is not so far away and there are still many small shops available: supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, greengrocers, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, a bookstore... and the Friday morning market, great too. Valognes is full of cute places that we were able to discover thanks to a set of small hiking maps of the area, kindly left by our hosts... Feel free to use them!
