The house has nice outdoor area with plenty of space. 10 minutes to the nearest convenience store. 24-hour shop, also on weekends and public holidays: 7 am - 11 pm. Arnafjord is a small village located 2.7 miles from Vik in Sogn. Here are a lot of good hiking guys. There are also nice swimming spots in the summer.

Ideal place for forest meditation or bouldering on large rocks. Only 300 meters from the border of the Sørebødalen nature reserve and a good starting point for hiking. 45 minutes to walk to Almdokkvatnet where boats and fishing nets can be used free of charge for anyone who has bought a fishing licence.

Please note, this place is in the mountains 620meter above sea level, you must be dressed for the Norwegian mountain, car must be able to drive the gravel road to cabin. Cabin in beautiful Måren overlooking the Sognefjord

My cabin can be found in Høyanger municipality, in the small village of Måren. To get to Måren you have to take a ferry (MS Lysefjord) from Nordeide, Ortnevik or Vik. There are no shops or kiosks in Måren, so you need to plan well with regard to food and other things you would need during your stay. In other words, you have to shop everything you need before traveling over with the ferry. The cabin is fully equipped and has everything you need for a nice stay.

The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of a duplex on an active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 7 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life.

The sea is 50 meters away, and you have your own boat house with a 14 foot boat for fishing your own mouthwatering supper or just cruising around looking at the scenery.

Balestrand is a small village located in Sogn og Fjordane and it has a population of 1,300 inhabitants approx. It is a very touristic place where you can find souvenir shops, tourist offices, supermarkets, medical centers, museum, aquarius, several restaurants and coffee shops.
