Vacation rentals with lake access in Houston

We had a great time staying at this cozy and comfortable home. The house has everything you possibly need and is perfect for families. The owner was very polite and friendly, and he answered all our questions right away. The location is perfect—close to stores, restaurants, and anything else you might need. We were especially touched, after a long trip, to find plenty of water, a variety of snacks, and lots of cleaning products waiting for us upon arrival. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful example of Southern hospitality. Big thanks to the owner for making our stay so nice!

Had the best stay! This home is absolutely gorgeous, Very clean and in an amazing location! Everything we needed was 5-10mins away. The host was friendly, responsive and welcoming! Genuinely impressed with my experience!

Micca, did an amazing job ensuring we knew where everything was and how everything worked. She met us and walked us through the house and even had a little snack tower for the kiddos and wine for the adults. There was an issue with the pool pump the day of check in and she worked tirelessly and found someone to come out and get it fixed when her regular pool person couldn't show up to fix. She genuinely cares and wants her guests to have a good time and she will go out of her way to makes sure you have a comfortable stay

Excellent Airbnb — very clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We especially appreciated all the baby items, which made our stay much easier. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautiful view of the lake through the large kitchen window. Our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend on the lake.

What I loved: The neighborhood was beautiful and felt safe The outside of the home was lovely and maintained. Kemah Boardwalk was a few minutes away by car, along with the fish markets, and a small private beach was about a 5ish minute drive. Beach was quaint, had a shower/rinse off area and was kept up. The bed was super comfortable (upstairs main) The layout of the house was awesome. My mother can’t walk up stairs well and she stayed in a HUGE room on the first floor. She loved it! The pool was GREAT and had a nice water feature! And volleyball net. Plenty of beach towels Easy instructions to get in and due to an early flight we got in about an hour earlier which was nice. Shampoo/Conditioner/body wash in the shower for use. What I didn’t love: The random hand written signs and rules posted throughout the house. one of the layout pool chairs was ripped so you couldn’t sit in it(1 of 2) It could use new ones. The dresser drawers upstairs would not stay closed. Overall, 5 stars! :)

Beautiful location, quiet neighborhood and felt secure. Grandkids loved the swimming pool! Host responded promptly when we ran into an issue and was most accommodating! Everyone was comfortable. If we come back to Houston area, will definitely book again!

The apartment was very nicely laid out and tastefully furnished. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only downside was that it was on the third floor with no elevator. 38 steps to get to our unit. Being in our 70s it gave us more exercise than we wanted. This was our fault for not reading all the details of the listing thoroughly before booking. Overall we had a nice time.

Tracy’s place was everything I hoped it would be. Very peaceful . very clean and welcoming. Whatever you may need in the kitchen, it’s there. We spent a lot of our time sitting out on the balcony watching the fish jump out and the birds flying by. Perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading and evening night cap. Great location for visiting family. Only 10 minutes away, if that. Next visit, we will stay there again. We found our home away from home. Tracy is friendly and quick to respond . She is an excellent host!

This was an extremely clean, elegant apartment that my 5 year old daughter’s first words upon entering were: “oh wow daddy, this is beautiful!”. Everything was spotless clean, very thoughtfully decorated and convenient supplies were plentiful. It’s located on the western outer belt of Houston. Really close to plenty of restaurants (do not skip Poblanos!) stores and most importantly the highway (i-10 Katy Fwy) which can take you directly to downtown. Parking is available and the instructions to get in were spot on. However the main highlight of this listing was not the apartment itself, but the host. Diana was an extremely helpful, cordial and responsive host. I did not have the pleasure to meet her but my mother did as she quickly took care of an internet issue we encountered. Hosts like Diana are part of the reason I’d rather book an airbnb vs a Hotel; they make all the difference. Definitely give this place a shot and come back to thank me later.

I love this home away from home. I stayed for 6 weeks and it was wonderful. Paul is very respectful and doesn't bother you at home. He had a small puzzle collections, which I loved! I also added a few to his collections. I would highly recommend his place he has everything you need and more. Very quiet and private.

Kim was a very great host and the unit looked exactly as pictured. Worked out great for what we needed! She was very flexible with the dates needed and always responsive. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Kim!

I was staying in Magnolia visiting my daughter and son in law. My daughter utilizes a wheelchair and I was so pleased to come across this gem. The bottom floor of the home is wheelchair accessible with an amazing accessible bathroom. It worked perfectly for her. There is a wrap around porch and a lovely deck that looks out onto a lake . We used the barbecue grill one afternoon and ate on the back deck. The cutest ducks came to visit us while we were enjoying our day. 100% recommend!
