This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Stunning ocean views from floor to ceiling bedroom windows. 5 Modern African Themed bedrooms throughout with a sitting area by the window. Other common area's to share are a spacious guest lounge area with comfortable lounge chairs, an internet station and a small bookshelf + a lovely outside sea-facing patio. Breakfast is not included in the price but can be added at an additional R100 per person.

The space
We have 5 beautiful sea-facing bedrooms in total and guests will be allocated according to availability. You will find all the modern comforts in your room from extra length beds (King or twins - as requested), percale linen, towels, shampoo, shower gel, hand sanitiser, hand soap, down duvets, a flat screen TV, with some satellite channels, Free Wi-Fi throughout the house, laptop safe, Air-Conditioning and heating, extra blankets, an espresso machine, complimentary tea/coffee/milk and biscuits, mini bar fridge, kettle. Each room has their own en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.

Guest access
Enjoy the use of the Guest Lounge room with comfortable lounge chairs, bookshelf and desk space. This room leads onto an outdoor sea-facing courtyard. Should you decide to pay for the 'optional' breakfast you can also enjoy eating outside, or in our dining room which is for breakfast guests only.

Other things to note
Parking is available both up our driveway (4 bays) and in 3 parking bays to the side of the street. All are safe. Those that are less able to walk up stairs can have access to our Lift. You may also use the lift to bring in your luggage.

Cairnside is a beautiful mountainside suburb full of flora and fauna only a 5 minute drive into the Centre of Simon's Town. A tranquil setting in a quiet culdesac overlooking the majestic False Bay Ocean. Watch sunrises from your bedroom and also Moon rises are something you don't want to miss. We are within a 5 minute walk to the Glencairn Beach which is where we as locals swim in the summer months. The Cape Point Penninsula, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Chapmans Peak Drive, Constantia Winelands is all within a 10-20 minute drive away. Cape town centre, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Robben Island and the Stellenbosch Winelands are 40-45 minutes drive. Everything is close enough to us to explore within the day.

I'm Australian born now living in South Africa with my South African Husband and 2 children. We chose this land where Simons Town Guest House is situated because of the awesome whale sightings (in season - July-Oct) we can see from our house. Not to mention the peaceful sound of the waves crashing and exquisite sunrises and moonrises over False Bay.We have travelled to many places internationally and think we understand the comforts and friendly service guests are looking for. Wildlife is our passion which you can see in our Contemporary African Themed Guest House displaying images of our trips throughout Africa.

We love seeing our guests leave with a happy heart and full stomach :) (should you choose to add on breakfast)
