The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Idyllically located apartment, bright, friendly and freshly renovated. Well-maintained condition and invites you to linger. Small smoking area and two parking spaces right by the house. The bike path starting at the house invites you to take a tour of the countryside. For hiking in the Danube Valley or Sigmaringen Castle or Lake Constance or the natural Baggersee, the apartment is very central. Enjoy the tranquility on the outskirts of Fronhofen with views of the countryside. Fronhofen is 15 minutes from Ravensburg and a very good starting point for numerous leisure activities. Lake Constance can be reached in just 25 minutes. The Allgäu with its hiking opportunities can be reached in about 35 minutes. In winter, numerous ski resorts can be reached in less than two hours. There are numerous swimming lakes & hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity (Pfrungener Ried/Blitzenreuter lake district).

Exclusive! Ski gondola from Switzerland, 1.80 × 1.45 just under double bed size, on a pond in the forest in the middle of nature, prepared for sleeping. Natura 2000 area in Upper Swabia. Only suitable for nature lovers and adventurous, sporty guests. Great place to watch water birds. "Forest kitchen" with running water, gas stove, cooking pots, dishes. Compost toilet, barbecue area. Our house and parking are about 150 m away. Swimming and fishing in the lake are possible. Mosquitoes unfortunately present.

Our accommodation is a large, well-equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a reading corner, a modern bathroom and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have a great view of Altshausen Castle. The location is central (various shops, bakeries and restaurants within a 5-minute walk) yet quiet area. The garden can also be used. A beautiful swimming lake is within 10 minutes' walking distance.

The cozily furnished apartment with a small kitchenette and balcony in a new building in the center of the small town of Renhardsweiler - near the spa town of Bad Saulgau is excellently suited for 2 people to stay overnight. In Bad Saulgau (7 km) and Bad Buchau (9 km) there are excellent thermal baths with the best wellness offer. There is gastronomy here on site or various possibilities in the surrounding cities (Bad Saulgau, Bad Schussenried, Aulendorf).

Former farm building of the forester's lodge, rebuilt in 2006, very quietly located in the middle of nature, wide view over the fields and meadows. The Adelindis thermal bath can be reached in Bad Buchau, 5 km away, and other thermal baths are within a radius of about 25 km. The summer house is not suitable for children under 4 years of age and not for people with disabilities, as the sleeping compartment can only be reached via the steep ladder.

We had a very nice weekend in Jana's house. We grilled on a grill on the fire bowl and used the terrace extensively. Light-sensitive people should take a sleeping mask with them in the summer, as there is no blackout for 4 sleeping places and if you travel as an adult group you should be aware that one of the double beds is 140m wide, which can be a little tight. It was still a great and beautiful stay for us.

All as described, very quiet and nice seating area in front of the entrance. The kitchen has everything you need, and the fridge has plenty of space. The only drawback: very poor mobile phone reception, but the host can't help it.

We were invited to a wedding in Bad Schussenried and had 2 great relaxing days in Anna's apartment. The apartment is perfectly equipped and nothing was missing. The terrace was particularly beautiful. Should we be in Bad Schussenried again, we would certainly book here again. Thank you!
