House vacation rentals in Horta

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

He's probably the best host that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He is so nice and sincere. I arrived with a laundry list of travel issue none related to his air bnb or really his concern. He even helped me after I checkee out. Seriously nicest man ever. The place is clean and great parking. It's small but perfect for when exploring the island. Do yourself a favor and book it now.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

This vacation home was exactly as described. It was clean, organized and comfortable, with additional amenities to enjoy your stay. The hosts went above board providing delicious food, coffee and water when you first arrive. An addition, there’s a pool, sauna and beautiful grounds to explore. It was one of my all time favorite Airbnb’s. Beautiful hosts, lovely accommodations, and incredible location.

I highly recommend staying at Bruno's. He is an excellent host. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Bruno's was very helpful.

HANDS DOWN our group of fours' FAVORITE place we have EVER stayed with the most gracious host we have ever encountered. The doors were not only functional, they allowed every part of the house to connect with the outdoors and the ocean. We had several nights in cooking in the kitchen (which had everything needed) because we had a better view than the amazing restaurants that Nicolau had PERSONALLY showed us in a quick town tour after checking us in. He also connected with the restaurant owners to advise who was open and the fresh catch of the day. We all slept so soundly to the sound of the ocean. I felt like I already knew Nicolau the moment he met us as he had provided so much information even before we arrived in Pico. We literally are planning the next time we can return and we cannot do Pico without Nicolau and this special place.

very well located accommodation close to all points of interest in Horta and in a typical and charming neighborhood. Nice and convenient. Just a downside: lack of maintenance the terrace was not usable. It's a shame, there is no other outdoor space and the view is beautiful.

The nine of us felt very comfortable and enjoyed the great view of the sea and the opposite mountain Pico. The location is quiet, a supermarket is a few minutes' walk away. Thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful time!

I was on Pico for the 7th time. After a 6-year break, Jonas' house was the best I could have found. It was just perfect. I was looking for it to be quiet, connected to nature and in good accessibility to whale watching in Lajes. Joana even quickly brought me a hair dryer and a toaster and the bed was incredibly cozy. I slept with the window open and listened to the sea and the cagarros. ❤️ Thank you for 12 days of paradise. I will definitely return! Best regards to you and your family, Joana. ❤️

Perfect accommodation in an idyllic location (facing the sea). Its location allowed us to travel all over Faial Island. Finally, Joao was very attentive, he is very professional and very friendly. Special mention, he speaks French :) If we return to Faial, we would not hesitate to take this superb accommodation again!

Gina was a lovely host. She was extremely communicative and responded quickly to texts. She was also very understanding when a chair was broken, and was more concerned that I didn’t get hurt than that the chair was broken! The goodies left for us were welcome, and it was nice to have the option, in addition, to buy some drinks in the mini fridge. Gina’s place was spotless and easy to find as the photos helped (Google maps has it further down the hill but keep driving up and you can’t miss it!). The bed was comfy, the view amazing, and the kitchen stocked with basic items. The local Continente was very well stocked for food and other items. Easy to pick up everything you need. Thank you Gina! We loved all the little whale items you had in your cottage, especially as we have learned about the importance of the whaling industry in the past to Azores.

We had a lovely stay at Pequeno Ninho. The house was extremely clean, the kitchen is really well-equipped. All the lights and decorations made it feel warm and cozy. In addition, the beds were really comfy. The host was responsive and allowed us to enter the house early, which was really convenient. Highly recommended!

We met Christina on our first day, she was so friendly and welcoming, showing us how to manage everything in the house. It was clean and intuitively organized, on a beautiful, serene, well maintained property. The location was perfect for us to have a base camp from where we could explore the island and jump around to the others, while enjoying the peace of the countryside. The view of Pico was incredible, you can see it from the dining and living room, and through the master bedroom window. The nautical theme was very authentic and tasteful, small details that made it feel like a home.

Cozy home, large rooms Enjoyable outdoor space and panoramic view of the volcano and view of the PICO. The only thing I recommend is not to come with a very large car, the entrance is narrow, but there are perfect parking spaces.

Our flight to Lisbon was cancelled for the second time and the airline could not provide a hotel. I book this place very late since all the hotels were full and they were kicking us out of the airport. We were only here for a night but it was great. The place was very well kept and they worked with us and even allowed a late check out. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

This place was a treat! Marianna’s place is meticulously decorated and makes you feel like you entered your own private vacation house. Such a relaxing atmosphere with a breathtaking view over the blue with some sightings of the neighbouring island. Marianna went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed in order to fully enjoy our stay in Pico. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and the great recommendations she gave us. She’s a wonderful hostess and person with great energy. I am very happy I got to meet her. A great apartment in a quiet location with a stunning view of the Pico! In 15 minutes you are in Horta at the harbor and the most important restaurants, bars and cafes (go back uphill). António and Marline were super friendly, had a lot of good tips for us and even allowed us to stay two days longer because our daughter got sick. For a late check-out, they even blocked reservations - just great! They responded immediately to requests and always offered us support. Perfect hosts!

We recommend the nice house and garden! We enjoyed the remote location a lot. Loved the outdoor shower, air conditioning (the weather was very humid) and the terraces for breakfast and dinner. Plenty of space for 4 people. There is a bike, but you need a car to visit most of the places. There are two walks you can start right from the house (Capelinhos, Capeço Verde).

We had a lovely stay at Daniela’s place and can recommend it. The patio and view from the apartment is wonderful and we will definitely come back. Daniela was a wonderful host and flexible with the check in and check out.
