Owner lives in the upper level year round and is always handy with recommendations for fun entertainment etc.. Our Cottage is free standing, located away from other buildings on our property. The cottage is great for a getaway, close to the mountains, town. 3 miles to Old Town, 1 mile to the foothills. It's quiet, peaceful with a country feel, yet close to many wonderful adventures. Great room appeal with a large screen TV, DVD player and sofa sleeper. Full size washer/dryer in the large bathroom. Parking is next to the cottage. There is a wood burning stove and we will provide the wood.

My pup and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the enchanted Forest and museinn. We felt cozy and comfortable. It was a fun and unique experience and we hope to be back. In a great location close enough to Estes park. Jason and Lindsey were great host, always quick to respond and very hospitable. They even left doggie bowls out for us which was super nice and unexpected.

We had the most incredible stay at this peaceful retreat in Allenspark. Tucked away on a quiet road, the cabin offered the perfect mix of seclusion and comfort. The amenities were top-notch, especially the jacuzzi, which was the perfect way to unwind under the stars after a day of exploring. One of the most memorable moments was spotting a moose on the drive home one evening, truly magical! The location was ideal, with just a short and scenic drive to Estes Park for restaurants, shops, and access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Susan, the host, was super responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature!

Kendall and Katy were wonderful hosts during our son's CSU graduation weekend. The check-in instructions were helpful and easy, the space is clean and nice, and their adorable pups were the icing on top. We highly recommend this quiet, peaceful space when visiting Fort Collins!

I was looking for an inexpensive but still good place to stay close to Old Town, so that I could run the Colorado Marathon, and my partner’s mom recommended Cindy’s place to me because she remembered it so fondly from staying there herself previously! It was perfect. Super close to downtown, super clean, and Cindy is super friendly! I will absolutely be back; thank you Cindy! :)

As long as your expectations are realistic going in, you read the full property description and understand that this is a basement apartment in a “lived” in home then you will have a wonderful stay. The basement apartment is very large, up to date furnishings and very comfortable. I had a nice stay and would return again when in the area.
