The cottage is located in the middle of the Jutland lake highland with a huge selection of nature experiences on land or on water. 20 minutes' walk from the house, the train stops in Alken towards Aarhus or Ry/Silkeborg. Super starting point for all types of holidays in East Jutland.

The accommodation contains a sauna with a window to the water, from which you can really enjoy the view of the calm water while completely disconnecting. The house also has 3 canoes/kayaks and associated life jackets, so you can enjoy one of Denmark's largest lakes, which is also connected to the Gudenåen. You can also fish directly from the house, as the lake is rich in fish.

You can also go to Snaptun, from where ferries sail to the peaceful islands of Hjarnø and Endelave – perfect for a day trip in nature.
