Located with Hansted Å in the backyard, there is a fantastic view over the river with plenty of opportunity to take a walk along the idyllic river and watch birds – including the kingfisher. The Nørrestrand wildlife reserve has fine trail systems around the lake, past wild horses and bird towers and all the way out to Horsens Fjord. There is a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

Cabin to the nature lovers

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!
