Cozy Lake Cottage at Lake Sommen

Unwind in this one-of-a-kind and quiet space. Directly by Lake Sommen is our newly renovated little house with bedroom, living room and a little kitchen. Patio under roof, jetty and beach directly outside. Summer water which means hot and cold water from the lake in the kitchen faucet and in the toilet house. New “Toahus” with shower cabin, sink and electrically powered incineration toilet. Fresh water is easily collected from the host. Bed linen and towels are included. Cleaning is not included. All guests clean up after themselves, all equipment is provided in the cabin.

Welcome to our little cottage which we call Exemption! The property is located in beautiful Småland village of Älö, 15 min from Vimmerby, ELF. Nearby are nice swimming areas. The exception is located on the outskirts of our plot, one side to a small garden with patio and the other side to an idyllic Småland cow garden. The cottage is from turn of the turn of the century and carefully renovated. Old windows, doors and floors are preserved. We who rent out the Exemption are called Elsa & Andreas, where our two children and some linen meat pigs also live here.

Here you live in a lovely rural village environment. The farmhouse has a newly renovated kitchen and a sauna with relaxation room. You have access to a large fenced garden and a large patio with wooden floors. A few minutes' walk away is a child-friendly bathing area with a jetty. The farm house is suitable for both children and adults. Here you can enjoy scenic surroundings with great hiking opportunities.

This is where you stay in our guest house. It is only a few hundred meters to a very nice bath in the sea bay Cricket. There are exercise equipment. Close to Västervik Loftahammar Vimmerby Norrköping Söderköping and Linköping You can get out in the Tjust archipelago with boats from Västervik and Loftahammar It is about 65 km to Astrid Lindgren's world You can also just be in our garden and enjoy flowers and the tranquility here.
