We wanted absolute peace and a retreat just for us. We found all this in the beautiful forest edge house. It is really in a completely secluded location, the nearest houses are several hundred meters away. Rarely do people walk along a forest path about 100 m next to the house, then you can sometimes hear human voices or horses and dogs, sometimes tractors drive or you can hear forestry work. 90% to 95% of the time we spent there, however, it was really quiet and we could enjoy this wonderful peace that we longed for. The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail, very clean and you can feel right at home there. The furnishings are very high quality overall and nothing is missing. We especially liked the tiled stove in the living room in front of which you can cuddle in the evening. To the rear, the house has a magnificent view over the fields. It's an absolute dream house! We will be happy to come back.

A very well-equipped house with plenty of room for 8 people and two dogs. We enjoyed the large kitchen and extensive kitchen equipment very much. The play facilities were also used extensively. Only the many steps to the entrance of the house were a bit problematic for my old dog. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Beautiful stylish house with great property located by a stream. No unnecessary frills, but everything you need. We felt very comfortable. However, you should inquire whether an event is planned at the neighboring community square. The shooting festival on the last evening is only a stone's throw away, but you can't get to sleep before 3:00 am.

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

We enjoyed the time around Christmas at the place very much. The friendly welcome was great and the house was beautifully large and lovingly furnished. We felt comfortable there.

The perfect place for children! The playground right in front of the terrace was a dream. Since the farm is located in a cul-de-sac, there are no cars. We had a very nice time.

There's really nothing we'd say was bad or we didn't like. Unfortunately, we didn't have such good weather during the stay, but since the accommodation was so beautiful, it didn't bother us at all. we would want to come back any time and definitely recommend the Forsthaus :-)!

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly fantastic! The apartment itself was lovely, nice, and incredibly tidy, making us feel right at home. We were absolutely captivated by the amazing views from both the balcony and the pool area – they were simply breathtaking. Beyond the beautiful space, Holger was always in touch, ready to help with anything we needed. We highly recommend this Airbnb for a wonderful and memorable stay!

It is a nice quiet place in the country. Within walking distance to Lemgo. A short drive to Detmold.

Felt more like being in a small cottage. No one can look into the living room. The entrance is in a backyard. Really quiet location, but we didn't find it right away. Hey… and after two days I can now also handle an induction hob.

The four of us spent an extended hiking weekend in Thomas' and Alice' beautiful bungalow. We felt very comfortable in this really nicely furnished bungalow, a very chic mix of old and modern. Everything was clean, pleasant, bright. Communication was quick and seamless. The foosball was used, we had a lot of fun and a special surprise for us: there is a western guitar in the dining area. It was tuned right away and a bit of house music was made. All in all: a recommended place to stay!

We had a wonderful and uncomplicated stay for this one night. The contact with the hostess was friendly and answers always came quickly. The apartment was very clean and optimal for our stay. In the afternoon, we could still enjoy the sun on the small terrace. The apartment is very central, so bakers, shops and restaurants were around the corner and the dog walk could be done directly from the house. We will be happy to come back.

I'm very grateful to Diana for her help, care and compassion. My cat was sick after travelling when we arrived on January 1 from Belgium. Diana brought us from the train station to vet clinic and was waiting there with me for several hours. Diana always helped with all my numerous questions and requests, although she was very busy before her holidays. She actively suggested her help and gave good advice. I felt calm and comfortable in the apartment. The furniture is not new but everything is very clean. The kitchen in well equipped. Everything function perfectly. There washing and drying machines in a separate washing kitchen which is free and available 24/7. The apartment can be cleaned every week, and bed sheets and towels are changed. But if it is not convenient for whatever reason you can cancel cleaning. The location is convenient. It's in 5 minutes walk from the train station. There are some supermarkets and a good pharmacy in about 15 minutes walk. The area is green and calm

We felt at home from the first moment. Gabriele is a very warm, flexible and helpful host. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and has a special charm. Due to the large window front, the apartment is very bright, but very cozy in combination with the furniture. The apartment was fully equipped and we didn't miss anything. We would book the apartment again at any time and recommend it to anyone looking for an Airbnb nearby.

A place to stay that you'd like to recommend! The apartment was neat and tastefully decorated, the parking in front of the door was also good. The check-in was totally uncomplicated and also the departure. I mentioned a few minor defects, such as a few missing sharp knives for cutting melon or a dish towel. It was said immediately and without hesitation that they would soon add these things. Just great communication. I felt comfortable there from the first moment, I will definitely come back when I go hiking in this region.

A very wonderful, clean and generously sized apartment. We felt very comfortable. A special plus is the large walk-in closet, the huge terrace and the gas grill.

We stayed at Nicole's for a wedding for two nights with our little son (2.5). The apartment is superbly furnished and the location is just fantastically quiet. Nicole and her dogs welcomed us directly, so much so that our little one could not stop raving about the dogs until we got home. The hospitality was really unmatched. So a box with age-appropriate toys was ready for our son. The forgotten notes for the singing in the church the next day were also printed by her without further ado. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
