Echt een geweldig appartement! Komt volledig overeen met de advertentie. Het is brandschoon en aan alles is gedacht: thee, koffie, wasmachine, noem het maar op. Het ligt in een rustige omgeving, maar onder aan de berg wel een leuk restaurantje om te genieten van zonsondergang. We hebben even moeten stoeien met de jacuzzi: die ging midden in de nacht om het uur aan, maar de host reageerde zeer snel en wist ons goed uit te leggen hoe we dit konden oplossen. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad, ik zou het iedereen aanraden.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Lage ist perfekt, mit dem Auto kommt man gut an viele tolle Strände ohne extrem weit fahren zu müssen. Das Zimmer war wie beschrieben, es war total sauber und wurde sogar während unseres Aufenthaltes einmal sauber gemacht. Der Blick war total schön und auf dem Balkon zu frühstücken einfach mega! Einen kleinen Abzug muss ich geben, da das Bett ziemlich klein ist und die Wohnung auch sehr hellhörig ist… man hört leider alle Geräusche von draußen und auch von den Nachbarn… Wir hatten gott sei dank Glück, dass wir leise Nachbarn hatten, aber wenn eventuell Familien mit Kindern nebenan wohnen, könnte es etwas lauter sein. Trotzdem waren wir rundum zufrieden, der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und hat uns tolle Empfehlungen gegeben! Wir würden wieder kommen 🥹🥰

Le logement est très bien et la vue est au TOP. Le terrain demande a être finis car il peu faire peur de prime abords à l'arrivée et n'inspire pas du tout. Anna est une excellente communicante et est très attentionnée avec ses locataires. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Nous avons absolument adorées notre séjour au Penthouse. Nous sommes un groupe de 3 couples avec deux bébés. La disposition du logement était parfaite. Nous avions chacun une chambre avec salle de bain et balcon ce qui nous permettait de tous avoir un peu d’intimité. Le logement est très bien insonorisé également. L’hôte avait laissé avant notre arrivé deux lits de bébés avec plusieurs couvertes chaudes et propres à l’intérieur, ainsi que deux chaises hautes bien équipées. Il y avait même quelques jouets pour bébé. Que dire de la propreté des lieux. C’était tout simplement parfait. Après quelques jours, nous avons même eu droit à un ménage complet et en profondeur des lieux. Finalement, le localisation est plus que parfaite. Vous êtes situés au abord de la vieille ville. Vous sortez du Penthouse et à quelques pas seulement vous y trouverez d’excellent restaurants, cafés et boutiques. Le port en soit est à seulement quelques minutes de marches. WoW je recommande vivement!

We had a short but wonderful stay at Dimitris and Danae’s villa, we were so surprised at how large and open the space is, it’s really a beautiful stay in the heart of the village on the mountains. We visited the Bistro owned by Dimitris next door, which do great coffees, smoothies and food- no wonder it seems so popular. Everything about this stay was perfect from the warm welcome we received to the privacy when relaxing by the pool, we would love to stay again in the future ☺️

Absolutely fabulous. Iwona’s apartment was better than we expected. The rooms were spotless, the a/c in the bedroom was cool, the shower was hot, the kitchen was well stocked and modern. The gardens were beautiful, the pool just right and the surrounding area is tranquil. The air in the mountains and the water from the taps is soft. The sun shone for our entire stay and the local cafe on the crossroads was perfect for a cold beer or a glass of something stronger... Friendly locals, hidden beaches and well stocked shops. Just watch out for the walk up Cardiac Hill.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Wie kann man etwas Perfektes beschreiben? Ein kleines Juwel im Paradies! Die Gastgeber charmant, hilfsbereit und sehr liebenswert. Die Bar nebenan einfach top. Matala hat den Zauber nicht verloren. Hier scheint die Zeit etwas langsamer zu gehen. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Wir werden unsere zwei Hauskatzen sehr vermissen. Herzlichen Dank und hoffentlich bis nächstes Jahr❤️

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage bei Kiriaki und Michalis. So nett und überaus freundlich sind wir noch nie empfangen und verabschiedet worden, außergewöhnlich und herzerwärmend. Michalis hat uns selbstgefangene Oktopus frittiert: super lecker 😋, danke. Kyriaki und Michalis waren sehr hilfsbereit und hatten jede Menge Tipps auf Lager für schöne Badestrände oder andere schöne Dinge, die man in der Gegend unternehmen kann. Haus und Hof waren sehr sauber und 1A vorbereitet. Im Innenhof vor dem Haus findet man Ruhe auf zwei Sonnenliegen. Toll waren auch die Zwischenreinigungen mit Handtuchwechsel. Danke auch dafür und die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten zwischendurch. Im Dorf selbst kann man abends in 3 Restaurants die kretische Küche kennenlernen. Auch Lebenmittel sind vor Ort erhältlich. Auf dem Dorfplatz findet man immer einen Parkplatz. Und zum Strand in Almeryda rollert man 4 km den Berg herab, Sonne und Badevergnügen sind gesichert. Wir fliegen sehr gut erholt nach Hause!!

Dit is zo’n plek die je nooit meer vergeet. Wauw wauw wauw! Het uitzicht is echt geweldig; in het groen, tussen de rotsen met uitzicht op zee. Er is niemand in de buurt en je hebt echt een huisje voor jezelf en dat op een heel mooi stukje Kreta. Het is slim om boodschappen te doen op de heenweg (in de keuken vind je alles om te koken en er is een barbecue), want een grote supermarkt is bijna een half uur rijden en de taverne in het dorpje is voor overdag top, maar ‘‘s avonds wil je die donkere route op losse stenen niet nemen (dat weggetje is sowieso even wennen, maar te doen). Heb je zin in een paar dagen even helemaal uitchecken? Dan is dit echt de plek. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

We had a wonderful two weeks at this rental. Sthatis and Alexandra were fantastic hosts, very responsive and accommodating. The house is exactly like the photos (minus the hanging chairs- but they were not missed). It is ade up of two separate apartments each with 2 bedrooms. It is well equipped and gets the most beautiful sunsets, perfect for an evening barbeque . If you wish to explore the island you will definitely need a car but it is wonderfully located between many of the islands attractions and accessible from both airports. The lovely maid (whose name I cannot remember- sorry!) attended twice. We had some unusual weather while we were there, including a sandstorm which coated the entire area in dust, but Stathis and Alexandra had organised the following day to have the outdoor areas cleaned and the pool water serviced so that we could use the facilities, which we were very impressed by. Overall it was a fantastic choice and we would recommend it to anybody considering staying

Electra was just amazing. We met her close to the apartment and she brought us there to do the check-in in with us. She is super friendly and shared some recommendations with us. The place is as described, it has everything needed for a few days. The garden and the spot under the olive tree are beautiful to have breakfast or read. Note: you will need a car to get there, but it is just a short drive to some restaurants and supermarkets. It was a really great stay and a good location to explore the west of Crete and its beaches.

Abseits des Tourismus in kleinem Dorf in der Mitte der Insel. Ein Auto ist definitiv von Nöten, zum Strand in den Süden ca.20km, Chania ca 1 Std. Autofahrt entfernt. authentisch und gemütliche kleine Wohnung, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. TV haben wir nicht benötigt und wenn man beim Einchecken weiß, dass Schlüssel rechts rum drehen "Abschließen" ist um umgekehrt, kommt man auch schneller rein als wir. Kostas antwortet schnell auf Fragen und wir empfehlen die Unterkunft.

Villa anasa exceeded expectations. The pictures don't do it justice, the attention to detail in the interior is impressive. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Gorgios was a gracious host and helpful in every way possible.

Beautiful, peaceful, so thoughtfully decorated. A great AirBnB stay. Walkable to many shops and restaurants but off the beaten path for privacy and quiet. Amazing view of the sea. Hosts went above and beyond to help me find the location and get me settled. Would recommend to anyone staying in this area!

We loved our time here. Recently renovated with care, the house strikes a balance between modern comfort and historic charm. It’s spacious, thoughtfully designed, and finished to a high standard. Located in the quaint village of Gerani, about a 10 minute drive from Rethymno, we genuinely appreciated being outside the city and immersed in the village atmosphere. Gerani has everything you need — a supermarket, great bakeries, and a few solid restaurants — our favourite being Maxis. The village also has easy access to the highway, which made it a perfect base for day trips to beaches and nearby towns, all while skipping the congestion of Rethymno. Damnoni and Kalypso beaches on the southern coast were a highlight. We found everyone we communicated with very nice and easy to deal with. Worth the stay!

Ein großes Dankeschön an Konstantinos und Stelina, die eine wunderschöne Wohnung für ihre Gäste zur Verfügung stellen. Wir waren begeistert von der Aufteilung der Räume, sehr modern mit bodentiefen Fenstern, einer Küche, in der nichts fehlte (selbst eine Salatschleuder und ein Messbecher waren da!) und mit einem komfortablen Bett. Die Handtücher werden jeden 3. Tag gewechselt und die Bettwäsche jeden 5. Tag, echter Luxus! Es duftet sehr angenehm, Dank der gut ausgesuchten Duftstäbchen. Für mich ist eine gut riechende Wohnung immer sehr wichtig und das haben wir ebenso sehr geschätzt. Der Balkon ist luftig und nach 10:00 im Schatten, da lässt es sich angenehm aushalten und der schöne Blick auf die Souda Bay ist einfach herrlich. Zur Innenstadt sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, man ist also schnell im Zentrum, aber abends auch schnell wieder draußen. Ideal für Menschen, die das Stadtleben genießen wollen, es aber lieber etwas ruhiger haben möchten. Danke nochmals für alles!!

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Anastasia & John. L'appartement, spacieux et joliment décoré, est bien situé pour se balader dans la région de Chania. L'emplacement est central, on peut facilement se rendre à pied sur le front de mer, tout en étant au calme. Nous avons spécialement apprécié la grande terrasse verdoyante et la literie très confortable. Enfin, le contact avec Anastasia et John a été très facile, ils nous ont gentiment accueillis malgré notre heure d'arrivée tardive, et avec un petit plateau d'accueil et des conseils de restos. Nous les remercions :) et les recommandons chaleureusement. Alice & Jonathan

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Fully stocked with everything required for our stay. Very helpful host who checked with us a number of times. Very easy check in and out. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Best airbnb we have ever stayed at because of Andonis's (and his mother, Maria, who lives in the same complex) hospitality. Andonis gave us great recommendations and even dropped off a bottle of delicious rose. Maria made our stay feel like a home. She brought us oranges from her garden for fresh juice, dolma made with zucchini flower, and spanakopita. The kitchen was also fully equipped so we were able to cook at home at least two meals a day. If we return to Crete, we can't wait to stay again.

Het appartement is heel rustig gelegen op de rand van het dorp en op wandelafstand van het centrum van Paleochora. Het is gesitueerd op 50 meter van de zee. En het zicht op de zee is prachtig! Paleochora is een gezellig vissersdorp en ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor mooie uitstappen. Er zijn mooie stranden. Het appartement heeft een mooi terras zowel aan de voorzijde als aan de achterzijde. Alles is voorzien in de keuken. De host reageert heel snel op berichten. Het is een toplocatie en zeker een aanrader.

Beautiful stay! Such tasteful design, spotless home with really wonderful staff to help. The team was very responsive and had really set up the place to make it very warm. It had everything you may neeed and more! Super strong winter net too so we enjoyed working there. Loved it and would definitely suggest!

Stella was an outstanding host. Her accommodation is beautiful. Everything was perfectly prepared. A delicious cake was waiting for us on the table. There were also various foods from Stella's parents' garden in the fridge. Stella is very communicative and gives great tips about the area. Thank you for this wonderful time.

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!
