Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Hoogezand-Sappemeer

We had a wonderful time at Ton and Lizette’s place. The house and surroundings were even nicer than the photos. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. They even included a few dog treats to also welcome our dog. He really lived his best life exploring outside. We felt relaxed and enjoyed taking walks in nature. The bed was so comfortable with the adjustable settings and reading lamps. We were sad to leave, but we look forward to going back!

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. Also nice was the sun in the front garden, where we could have breakfast quietly. The location is nice and quiet, so we were able to sleep really well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back. Finally, I would like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, wonderful week. Wonderful hosts! Both Bert and Anita were so kind to show us around the property, as well as check with us to make sure we had what we needed. Lovely location and beautiful house!

We stayed as a family of five adults and a five-month-old baby for a week in the old painter's house of Christin and Willi. We had a very nice time in the house and were able to enjoy the quiet garden right on the water in good weather, especially in the first days, and watch the cows grazing on the other side of the water. But even with the worse weather in the second half of the week, we had it very cozy in the house in the spacious living room with fireplace. The location is wonderfully quiet to relax or take walks along the dike. Christin and Willi even provided us with a travel cot for our baby. The communication with the two went great, they were always helpful and with good tips (e.g. the trip to Groningen was very worthwhile). Everything in the house was also very clean and well maintained. All in all, the perfect place to stay for a family getaway. We will be happy to come back!

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely weekend at Annie and Jaring's place. They are very nice and service-oriented. Nice cottage and super garden to relax from our walks and excursions. Had a very tasty and extensive breakfast. Recommended and well worth it!

Lovely few days felt like a home away from home

Great location. Relaxing and quiet. Everything worked out great. Bed linen and towels cost extra. You have to pay a deposit on site, which you get back directly at check-out. Super nice and helpful people on site. Thank you ☺️

Thank you very much Jolanda for your hospitality, it was very nice to be in the cabin, everything was enough, everything was provided, the only thing is that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot at check-in, but since we planned to walk during the day and get home in the evening, it did not frighten us, since in the morning and evening we felt great. The hostess gave great recommendations for nearby interesting places, which we took advantage of, thank you for this separately! We also visited the village of Giethoorn, it is amazing and not far at all. Overall, the vacation was wonderful, we recommend it.

Josiane's vacation home was a beautiful, modern new stay at a lovely place on the campsite by the beach. We stayed here as a family of 3 one night and combined it with a visit to family and a trip to the Sprookjeshof. What was extremely nice was the quick and pleasant communication in advance. We were also really thought along with us and even an extra heater was arranged due to our child. The best part was a nice walk with our child on the beach that is really next to the cottage.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

Lovely place, nice terrace with views over the water, also very suitable for families with children. Friendly host, and clean and neat holiday stay.

We are coming from the south and wanted to stay a night close to Emmen because we were going to the zoo. We were warmly welcomed by Rene and felt very welcome. The chalet is located on a small-scale and quiet campsite and is super cozy. Our daughter of almost 2 also liked it very much and camping cot and high chair were also present, plus! We also enjoyed sitting in the sun in the garden by the chalet. We had a nice weekend and definitely recommend this accommodation!

A lovely retreat surrounded by farm animals. Perfect to start/finish the first couple of legs from the Pieterpad.

This is a lovely little chalet set in a beautiful nature area. The chalet is very comfortable and has all the day to day necessities. There are bikes for guests to use. Martine and Manuel are wonderful hosts. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

We we‘re so happy with our stay in Zuidwolde! Beautiful countryside around the Airbnb, lovely to sit outside and enjoy it. Only 10 min in car to central Groningen, very easy route. There is private and free parking on the property. The flat is good size for a nice weekend away, we had everything we needed. Communication with Klaas was great, we’d definitely book again!

The place is very nice and quiet. We had a lovely weekend and were able to relax very well. The hosts were always available and always friendly.

A great place to stay on a lake, somewhat outside of Groningen Very comfortable! Unfortunately, the bedroom has no way of darkening, but that's just a small flaw. thanks for a great stay!

I stayed for 2 nights with a friend for a nice weekend escape in the nature: best choice we could make! The hosts are super friendly and made us feel at home since the very first moment. The little house has everything you need, and more, to make it a very special place: the fireplace and the cd player with audio system were the highlights! We also enjoyed the nature and peaceful surroundings. Definitely recommended!!
