Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. Enjoy 600 feet of waterfront access to a beautiful sandy beach with a view of the Cascades or walk to the Foulweather Bluff Preserve, a “Nature Conservancy” beach with a stunning view of the Casades. Skunk Bay is on the north tip of the Kitsap Peninsula, three miles north of Hansville – just 20 minutes north of the Kingston Ferry Dock.

Dive, fish, kayak, shuck, crab, clam or just relax in our beautiful 1930’s no-bank beach cabin. Interior is paneled in refurbished original combed cedar with a vaulted ceiling in the living room, fir floors and hand-made rugs. Also available for rent are our adjacent studio cottage and our 2-bedroom beach cabin, located on the far side of the studio. All 3 cabins are located right next to each other, right on the beach. Rent two or all three cabins for a large group!

Close by to Lena Lake, Murhut Falls, Olympic National Park, Rocky Brook Falls, and many other attractions on the Hood Canal. We have three kayaks available (two single, one double) for guest use.
