Christy's apartment is lovely and the immediate complex is very impressive, especially attractive at night. It is a very safe location and very peaceful and quiet. I had a great time there. MTR and all the shops are close-by. I highly recommend

I really liked the location, it was in a quiet spot away but only a few minutes walk to the beach. O appreciated the small kitchen with fridge and basic cooking facilities, as well as the washing machine. It made traveling with kids so much easier. The host was very quick to respond to any messages and was very helpful. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Very central to everything you need and the ferry pier & buses. 2 local super markets right next to you as well! It was exactly what we were looking for!

We lived 20 years in HKG, for us it felt coming back home. DB is still an outstanding destination and Gill‘s flat fulfilled by far our expectations. Actually we rented it a second time. Also for visitors coming the first time to HKG/DB it‘s very special, plenty outdoor activities, excursions, beaches are at the door step. North & South Plaza offering plenty of options, like restaurants, SPAs, shops & supermarkets. a good base to explore the entire territory. very well connected with transportation facilities. we are in love with Peony, excellent authentic Chinese food. even the weather was pleasant, not so hot. A great little place to stay right in the heart of the village. Perfectly set up for guests. I would fully recommend to other guests wanting to enjoy a great get away to Lamma Island. Lots of Restaurants, bars and shops and easily walkable to the beaches and hiking on Lamma

We had an amazing time at Giulia's place. The photos don't do the place justice. The view from the balcony is stunning. Would definitely stay again!

This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. I had a great stay with a few of my mates, where we were able to enjoy the footy after our BBQ at the nearby BBQ spot. The house is very big, so it was spacious and getting multiple floors was the cherry on top because we had that privacy all to ourselves. Additionally, the rooftop had unmatched ambience - this is good for people wanting to rent this place as the views are breathtaking and even if it starts to rain the umbrella really does cover everyone. Lastly, the pizza next door has extremely good deals and tastes very nice. All in all, a great experience, would highly recommend!

We had an extremely relaxing stay in Anoes’ home. It is a wonderful retreat. We took our meals and coffee on the porch listening to rain on the roof and watching banana trees flower in front of the sea. The house interior is spacious and clean and the AC works well. We also very much enjoyed the walk to town along the wooded pedestrian lath. Anoes was a wonderful host. We hope to return.

Polly’s beautiful home is a wonderful respite from our city homes. The house is adequately furnished with all the amenities you need, the beds are comfortable and the sounds of nature wakes you up in the morning. The kitchen is well furnished (stove,oven n microwave) should you be cooking your meals there. Communication with Polly is also fast and efficient. We would love to come back and stay again if the house is available.

We loved our stay at Francesca’s place! The decor is beautiful and the location is perfect - close to the Lamma ferry pier but out of the way of the crowds. Francesca herself was responsive, friendly and understanding of our needs. We would love to stay here again! The outdoor patio is an added plus.

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

It was out 4th stay at Philippe’s house. Just as last time, we had a fantastic time. Marilou helped us get in and was very responsive.

I stayed for two nights with a group of friends. We really enjoyed the spaciousness and well equipped kitchen and house overall. We cooked in the kitchen and grilled on the roof and had a blast. The pool table was a big plus and we spent a few hours playing. There was one nuisance with the front door digital lock failing and the host was very responsive (although ultimately it took quite some time to fix), but ultimately the experience was very good. I also loved going out to look at the Buffalo and birds and wildlife on the grass with my morning coffee, really enjoyed the peace and the beach is pretty nearby. Would definitely consider going again. Thanks!

I made a very good decision for my 4-day New Year Holidays! Fleur’s house is located in a quiet and peaceful village in Lantau Island. Just walking distance to the pier or cycling the best choice to see around. The house is Asian mixed Western modern 2-storey, nicely decorated inside with simple and cool style. The roof top is stunning where you can watch stars. You will feel you are so blessed by the beautiful surroundings, especially the mountains🥰 Everything was super clean and very well maintained, hardly find dust! Mimi the cat was very friendly to us. She even slept on my lap🥹 If you want to escape from city life, Fleur’s house and Lantau are both highly recommended.

Amélie is the perfect host! We checked in easily thanks to her clear instructions, then she popped in later that day to say hi and offer us any help and advice we needed. The apartment is only a few minutes from the ferry pier at Yung Shue Wan, the main village on Lamna. But getting there does involve quite a lot of steps and a steep slope, so it mightn’t be easy for anyone with mobility concerns. The place itself is lovely - spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful terrace and a lovely chilled vibe. It’s perfect for exploring the island on foot and the views close by are enchanting. Yung Shue Wan has everything we needed in terms of restaurants, cafés and basic shopping. And one of the best things about Lamma is there are no cars (though there are little VVs - village vehicles - that deliver stuff and race around the narrow paths)! Altogether we had a brilliant stay and Amélie’s place offered the perfect retreat.

I had lived in Hong Kong for 10 years so I know quite a lot of places here and I will definately advise this options to my friends if they chose to visit and not staying at my place :) . This was my weekend staycation away from the city and I enjoyed it quite a bit! If you want to have a quiet, chill atmosphere after a whole day of sightseeing in Hong Kong with a very short commute to Central (either 13 minutes walk or 5 minutes bus plus 25 minutes on a very frequent ferry which runs as late as 1 AM every day) this is an absolute winner! The apartment is equiped with everything you need and the host is very responsive. It is a very good deal considering the size and the prices of the hotel rooms in Hong Kong. Excellent.

Perfect for our family trip. Greg's apartment had all we could need and is in a complex with top notch facilities. Close to some of Hong Kong's best beaches and trails and a short hop from Central or Sai Kung. We had an ideal stay.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit auf der Insel. Karine war super freundlich und wir haben uns gefühlt wie bei einer guten Freundin zu Gast zu sein. Sie ist wirklich gut ausgestattet und es ist sehr gemütlich. Der Blick ist toll und es ist sh ruhig. Eine Grundreinigung der Küche würde die Unterkunft aus unserer Sicht nochmal aufwerten.

While the location is about a 20-30 min walk to either beach, it is very easy to get to the closest bus stop. Be sure to download the Lantau Bus app for bus arrival times. There are some great hikes right from the flat that are amazing and not to be missed by outdoor enthusiasts. Be sure to get details from the hosts’ convenient orientation binder. The flat itself is great. Very clean with cozy furnishings and well supplied with everything you need for a home. Mobile service is almost non-existent in the village, but the WiFi covers most of the voids created by this. The WiFi has great coverage and speed making remote work very achievable. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. They make themselves available if needed and were a pleasure to stay with. If you are looking for an alternative to the dense urban environment of HK island, this is a great option for up to 4 or 5 people!

Chi Hang’s place is well-decorated and very comfortable. The location is also accessible, right near the beach. You can also enjoy the nice sea view at the balcony. Chi Hang is very nice and helpful, provided me with lots of instructions on different appliances.

We had an extremely pleasant and convenient stay. Highly recommended for a single person or couple visiting DB.
