Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

Great log cabin with beautiful views (500 meters above sea level) just an hour from Oslo. The cabin is well equipped with a fireplace and wood stove in the living room. Kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin has a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. One bedroom on a loft (note: steep staircase) and one in 1 floor. Both bedrooms have a double bed. Several good hiking opportunities, driven ski runs right by the cabin. Close to forest and field hiking trails, bathing facilities. A great place for all four seasons.

You'll love the place because of the view, the location and outdoor area, with direct access to the river. The place is good for couples, you traveling alone and families (with children). Stay in a traditionally storehouse at a Norwegian farm at Noresund, 100 km and 90 minutes drive from Oslo. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 8 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice. We recomend that you have a car avaliable.

Enjoy nature in this beautiful, quiet place! There is no electricity. Fresh water from a new well. Poor phone signals and zero wifi! This is perfect for a digital detox! This is a place for pure relaxation. The climbing park HøytogLavt Modum and Blaafarveværket are just a few minutes away by car. The place used to house workers from the cobalt mines. The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.
