This was such a great place to stay. A stylish, well equipped & well loved home in a really special location. Highly recommended. The only downside for us was the full moon that spoiled the star gazing!

This is my second time staying at the Hi Desert House and it’s a total dream. Everything you need for a true getaway, nothing you don’t, thoughtful design touches everywhere you look. Jenna and Michael have created something beautiful here.

I loved everything about this place! It’s absolutely beautiful and has such a peaceful vibe—perfect for a Joshua Tree getaway. The host was super friendly and really attentive making the stay even better. I would 100% recommend it to anyone and definitely love to come back again!

Perfect for any searching for solitude, but not so far out that you can't pop into town for a meal. I plan on returning, for sure.

The atmosphere was so peaceful and charming that it made us feel completely at home. This is the kind of place you want to come back to again and again. We had a great weekend here. It was the perfect place to unwind, get away from work, and reconnect. The property is full of places to sit and relax. We especially liked the tent on the property! It was a great place to be mindful. Definitely hoping to come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape. One note is that we got there at night and it was a bit difficult (but manageable) to find the property.

Simon’s place was clean and beautiful and just as described! We sat outside and watched as the sunset and we enjoyed the most incredible starry night. I was so fortunate to book this place! Make sure your car can handle dirt roads and definitely don’t go down George Road because of soft sand. Also, my maps didn’t show Judy road so you’ll just have to keep an eye out. Other than that, there were plenty of towels, everything worked, they had shower essentials and everything was pristine, wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Amanda was flexible and communicative with my last-minute request to stay as I was passing through the area. The place was just as described—cute, comfortable, safe, and just what I needed. Would certainly stay there again!

Such a great beautiful place to stay. It was definitely a home away from home. Very close to Joshua Tree State Park, Good food, flea market and amazing stores. Loved how it also had a little corner with lounge chairs to enjoy the stars.

We had a wonderful week stay! Location is perfect to get into the park and town of Joshua Tree as well as an easy drive to 29 Palms, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs, Pioneer Town. The house was large (big dining/living room/master bed) with comfortable beds and great linens. Kitchen had most of what we needed to cook meals at home. We had a few issues with fans/ac, but the hosts were very responsive. Cowboy tub wasn't up and running, so you may want to message host to see if it's back if you are looking forward to it. There is an outdoor table for 4 and a few other outdoor chairs as well. We especially loved sitting in the back yard, which is very private and large, among many beautiful desert plants, animals (lots of birds, rabbits, and lizards!), and stars!

Robert’s property was wonderful! It had everything we needed and was very peaceful and clean. They accommodated my family very nicely. Would highly recommend!

Tracy and Colleen's place is comfortable and functional. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable + the place had everything you need for short and long term stays. The outdoor space is also delightful. We loved watching the sunset everyday from the front porch with the birds and the occasional bunny or desert squirrel. The location is great. We loved how close it is to the National park. We stayed for almost 3 months and enjoyed our stay. Tracy and Colleen were responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a couple concerns upon check-in and they were prompt in answering and handling our concern. We both work from home and they were kind to leave a desk for us which was super helpful. Thank you again.
