The apartment in the countryside is located on the upper floor of a historic farmhouse with a huge natural garden directly on the field and forest. From the spacious kitchen/dining/living area view of the garden and village. The sleeping area for 4-6 people consists of 2 bedrooms with double beds and a second living/play room with sleeping accommodations for 2 people (opens up the 2 bedrooms). For 8 people, another bedroom with a double bed (12 sqm) is added. Spacious toilet/bathroom area (16 sqm) with shower and tub.

Welcome! Our former farmhouse, whose foundations date back to the 18th century, is located in the middle of the countryside with its large courtyard. A stream flows right behind the house through a nature reserve and the hilly landscape with meadows and forests invites you to hike with ever new views. The sunny apartment itself, with old floorboards and treasures from 3 generations, is ideal for families or friends and all those who are looking for peace and nature, whether to relax or work.

Lehne Dich zurück & entspanne... Unser Einraumappartement wurde nur mit natürlichen Baustoffen erstellt. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail habe ich hier Naturschiefer & Eichenholz verarbeitet. Das hochwertige Interieur läd zum Relaxen ein. Hier, am Tor zum Vogelsberg befindet sich u.a. der Einstieg zum Vulkan Mountainbiketrail "Mühlental". Bike Ladestation direkt am Appartement. Danach ein Saunagang? Bei Interesse besteht die Möglichkeit eine Spritztour mit meinen US Oldies zu unternehmen ;-)

Cozy little sheperd's hut in the green countryside

You will find our lovely litte sheperd's hut in the green countryside near the village. You can relax here alone or with somebody else. The surrounding landscape is perfect for hikes and long walks. You can also find a nice lake and a small town with their typical half timbered houses not too far away from your stay. For an easy start in the morning you can book a breakfast for 11,50 € (per person and night). The bathroom with a shower is available for your personal care (100m).

Quietly located yet very central. 5 minutes from the Kirchheimer Dreieck, nestled in a small valley, is an idyllic place of tranquility. Relax in the hot tub, recharge your batteries in the in-house sauna cube or splash around in the lake in the sunshine. In Kirchheim you get everything for your physical well-being.

The apartment is very quiet and is barrier-free, has bed linens and towels. Pets by arrangement. Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. The A49 and thus also Kassel can be reached quickly (about 20 minutes). We are right on site and are available for more tips and help. We look forward to seeing you!

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of our large residential house. A shared entrance and hallway lead to the apartment. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook and enjoy together with its freestanding kitchen island and dining area.

The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

Vacation at Gut Sauerburg

Our manor with our animals: sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, cats and our dog Elli is only 5 km from the A7 / Malsfeld exit & yet in an absolutely secluded location in the middle of a nature reserve. You can use and explore our 20,000 m² lot. Not far from our farm you will find a unique vantage point. Here with us, the hare and fox say good night. There is also a trampoline/slide/sandbox/table tennis table …
