Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. Quiet residential area, but there can be some noise from the railway, private patio. Standard is completely average, small bathroom but contains both shower, toilet and sink. Bathroom has entrance from one bedroom. If there are more than three people, one or two have to sleep in the living room in the extra beds. The outdoor area is small but there is room for four around a table. In the garden there is a large trampoline available. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The area offers beautiful pine forests and miles of hiking trails. Feel the pulse rise in the hills - or slow down and just let your thoughts run wild on the terrace.

This cabin requires that you travel with a car and that you bring your own sleeping bags, drinking water, food and toilet paper. It is also almost a must to bring rubber boots if you don’t want to get your feets soaking wet ☺️ From the car park it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the cabin. Its a cosy room appartmen with a loft with a wooden style and a large terasse. Its close to the woods and mountains, you can take walks from the house or drive futher to get higher up on the mountain tops. Its a nice place with friendly neighbours on a farm area. Here you can also go swimming in the river in the summer and go skiing in the winter. And its close to the big ski resort in Kongsberg.
