Monika is a great host. Getting me a bandage when I injured myself was a cherry on top. I would definitely recommend. The place is clean, neat and very stylish with lovely finishes. The first night was cold, heaters are provided together with electric blankets. She is very responsive and always has a beautiful smile on her face.

It was such a treat to be a part of Helen's beautiful farm life for a week. There is a peaceful bustle about, while retaining your privacy. Helen is lovely, helpful and makes you feel right at home. The perfect cost-effective base to explore Hogsback from - and dog friendly was an absolute bonus (you even have your own fenced backyard). Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Had the best time. This was our second time here and this time we bought our dog & it comes with even more recommendation. All amenities were super clean & a private loo with shower just for you. Our hosts, Alex & Pierre were super welcoming and they took the time to take us on an outdoor experience which was extremely enjoyable and interesting. Definitely give this unique stay a try if you enjoy nature and glamping. We shall be back! :)

A standalone self catering cottage on Happy Valley farm - 30kms from Hogsback and 30kms from Cathcart,all gravel🌳🏡🌳 Perfect for an escape from the busy city of a stop over on a road trip 🚗 Gone fishing 🎣 : Guests have access to trout and bass fishing dams. A rod fee applies. You can keep 1 fish per rod (subject to meeting size requirements), after that it’s catch and release. Sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms - 2 x double beds, 2x single beds. Please note: Road is very bad at the moment

Redwood is located in a peaceful private garden space. The two en-suite bedrooms, a central living room with a fireplace, Wi-Fi, smart TV, and a kitchen with all amenities are for 6 guests. The garden has azaleas, hydrangeas, clivias, rhododendrons and crinum lilies as well as Redwood and Yellowwood trees. Birdwatchers will see the Knysna Loerie and Cape Parrots. From the covered patio with its built-in braai there is an open view on the Amatola forest and the 3 peaks of Hogsback Mountain.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place or enjoy a romantic getaway and get lost in our wonderful formal gardens. Woodside Gardens is offering this 6 sleeper cottage (2 queen and 1 double bed) with fully equipped self-catering facilities and full access to one of Hogsback's finest gardens. We are pet and child friendly with a safe premises. The experience is private and allows you, your family and friends to get some much needed peace amongst birdsong and lush trees.

A loft-style bedroom features a spacious bed dressed with a light grey duvet and a blue throw. Soft bedside lamps illuminate the wood-paneled walls. A rug lies underfoot, and a clothing rack is visible in the corner, adding functionality to the cozy space.

The Pool House

This is one of our most popular cottages. It sleeps two, but can sleep 3 if need be. The cottage was built up from an old pool and has so much character! The sunken lounge and kitchen, along with the loft-style bedroom make this the perfect cottage for a couple wanting to get away. It is fully equipped and offers a beautiful little fireplace for those cold nights on the mountain. With a breathtaking view, it's no wonder it's so popular! Unique and tranquil getaway.

The Guest House

Karen is a wonderful host. The cottage is well situated in Hogsback close to beautiful walks and the town center, and still tranquil. The cottage was well equipped and spacious. We brought along our dog and he had a ball of a time. Great dog friendly accommodation.
