Um die malerische Vulkaneifel zu genießen, bietet sich Wandern auf dem Eifelsteig ( Etappe 7-8 ), dem Krimiwanderweg, dem Felsen- u. Keltenpfad u. im Lampertstal an. Das Fahrradwegenetz liegt direkt an unserm Haus. Sie können bei uns gegen eine kleine Gebühr Räder mieten. Ein 18 Loch Golfplatz befindet sich in 3 km Entfernung. Zum schwimmen bieten sich an: Freilinger & Kronenburger See, Freibad Gerolstein oder die Maare.

Mit dem Auto ist man in einer guten halben Stunde am Nürburgring, an der Ahr, am Ruhrsee oder im Phantasialand Brühl. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 10 km Entfernung. Hunde nach Absprache willkommen.

Newly renovated after storm damage! Separate small studio guesthouse behind the main house with parking , wonderful views of the Ahr valley nearby. Small en-suite wet room with shower and toilet, basic cooking area with a double cooking hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and seating area. There is a tiny patio outside with seating. 28km to the Nürburgring. 4 hiking paths are just outside the front door. Very quiet country village. Shops, bank etc in nearby Ahrbrück (4km) Pets are welcome

Sie liegt abseits im Wald und ist interessant für Naturliebhaber, Wanderer, für Besucher des nahegelegenen Nürbrugringes und für Liebhaber historischer Gebäude. Historic vicarage near Nürburgring

The half-timbered house is located in the courtyard of the old rectory of Kirmutscheid/Wirft only 5 minutes from the Nürburgring. The main house was built in 1709 by Baron Gallen zu Assen for the priest and is directly adjacent to the church which was built by Count Ulrich of Nürburg in 1214. The house with approx. 50 sqm of living space has been restored with great attention to detail and renovated only with natural building materials in order not to lose the pleasant indoor climate.

Es gibt ein Außen-WC, Duschen ist nach Absprache im Haus gegenüber möglich. Da es außer den zwei Kaminen keine Heizung gibt, wird die Unterkunft nur im Sommer vermietet.
