Guesthouse vacation rentals in Hobart City Council

I often stay at Theo's when I am in Hobart as it's conveniently located and, has a well equipped kitchen with some ingredients / few staples. Specifically, it's close to the mountain and the walking tracks there, you can walk or bus to town, there are two independent grocers very close by, and some good eateries. The unit is basic but good - suits me to a tee. Would be good for up to 3 people

Where to begin. Rob and Susan’s place is so incredibly special. We loved every minute of our stay. The place is so beautiful and such a gorgeous piece of history, we felt so grateful to be there, seeing the Richmond bridge from the window. The location is stunning, and walking distance to all of the sites in Richmond. Rob and Susan are such passionate hosts, and clearly put in so much work to make sure everything is perfect, including the generous breakfast provisions (including freshly baked bread!), the lovely decor and furnishings, and the super impressive DVD collection. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Would love to come back one day.

I booked Natasha’s place for my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary and they absolutely loved it! Natasha was so helpful with arranging the dates they needed to stay, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Stunning location and couldn’t recommend more!

We had a wonderful time in the Boat House. The views are amazing, it’s very nice and quiet and the house is exactly as described. We would definitely book it again!

A lovely place to stay while in Hobart for work for a few weeks. The Loft has everything you could need and is very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

It is a nice, clean, peaceful place to live. The kitchen has everything you need, much happier to spend few nights in that's place.

Hobart is a city that captures the heart with its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of staying at a Rebecca's Tudors apartment that redefined our experience. Situated in a prime location, we found ourselves within walking distance of Hobart's key attractions. The historic Salamanca Market, bustling waterfront, and enchanting gardens were easily accessible, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the local culture without the hassle of long commutes. Convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants were also nearby, enhancing the convenience of our stay. The apartment was equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for, making our stay immensely comfortable. Lovely linens and comfortable beds! Our hosts were incredibly hospitable and great communicators. Highlights of our visit- Mona and aloft restaurant (Chefs menu- to die for) Thank you for making my Birthday weekend treat away memorable. xo

I had an excellent time staying here! The view was incredible and the amenities available made everything easy and relaxing. The privacy and remoteness of the spot was wonderful, made it feel like it was just us and nature. I loved this location and will definitely consider coming back here for future getaways!

Wendy was incredibly welcoming, providing clear instructions and local tips. The space was spotless, well-furnished, and had thoughtful touches like breakfast, coffee and tea. We enjoy our stay at Rosies place. It felt very cozy and homey! The surroundings are great! Lot of walks nearby :)

The appartment was perfect for our short stay with everything we needed. Lovely view over the river and very clean and modern facilities. Bed was very comfy and the linen etc was first class. Scott was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Really lovely stay at Jude's cottage. We were two friends and it was the perfect size. Beds were comfy with quality linens. Very peaceful and private location with incredible views. And what can I say about the alpaca welcome committee :) Jude left some feed so we could hand feed them each morning. Another highlight was the indoor fire which we used each day. The cottage itself was very warm and cosy. A great place to unwind for a few days. We will definitely be back!

We regularly opt to stay at Sol’s when we’re in Hobart for the peaceful bush setting. Sol makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

Damien's place is nice, the location is good and very easy to find, the room is large, very comfortable, unfortunately the soundproofing is not very good, I can often hear snoring and footsteps and children's voices in the middle of the night, but it's still a very good place

The views and garden area are amazing, 10/5 stars!!! We enjoyed our stay and the location makes it easy to explore south of Hobart as well as going into Hobart itself. It's also not that far to go to Bruny Island or Port Arthur for a daytrip. The house is good and has a few quirks to it. It's a bit unusual that the bathroom (which is very nice) can only be accessed via bedroom 2, we were three adults and it is strange for one to have to walk through the bedroom of the others to access the toilet. The washing machine was inside the other bedroom. It all works fine but something to be aware of for some groups of people. In summary, it is a lovely place for two people, and it worked ok for three. The location is great, close to Hobart and Kingston, walking paths are accessible from the house, and the views are indeed amazing, including wallabies and birds right next to the house!

We have stayed in airbnbs for over 10 years and this is hands down the best one we have ever stayed in! Pip & Pete the hosts were so amazingly kind and helpful, facilitated early check ins and late check outs for us and even shared a wine on the balcony with their gorgeous dog Boomer. The place was full of little touches that made our week long stay fly by. The place is magical and so private, perched overlooking mt Wellington amongst the Tassie bush with awesome amenities like a pool, sauna and picturesque tennis court. Couldn’t fault it. Unmissable if you’re travelling to Tassie!

Great spot so we were able to walk everywhere, which helped not having to move the car in and out of the little parking area we were allocated. Once we knew which unit was ours we were able to get in easily enough and everything was as expected inside - nice and tidy, modern features, etc. I didn't realise both beds were already made up so had a slight misunderstanding on my end looking for the 2nd bed's bedding, but host was super responsive and had a solution within minutes for me anyway which was really great. They were friendly and attentive and it was a great stay overall! Definitely recommend to others.
