In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna has to offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store and a little further up in the village there is a café, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming spot. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

The accommodation is a separate guest part of the house with a private entrance. It consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. The bathroom has a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. A large terrace faces the lake, with seating under a pergola, and guests have their own disposal over the entire terrace. Charming old house on a classical Dalarna farmstead. Quietly situated near lake Siljan. Guests have access to their own part of the garden. The house is 80 sqm, with two bedrooms, lounge and fully equipped kitchen. DEPARTURE CLEANING, SHEETS AND TOWELS INCLUDED IN PRICE. A frequent comment from our guests is that their visit was too short. We recommend minimum three nights - there is much to see and experience, for all ages, in the area.

Bo i en liten timmerstuga på vår gård! I en högt belägen lantlig dalaby, med hästar, höns, katter och hundar om knuten, ligger vår lilla gård. 1965 byggdes en liten stuga åt ägarens dotter Astrid, för att hon skulle kunna komma på besök. Astrid blev snart ägare av hela gården, och stugan kom inte att användas särskilt mycket. Fram tills nu!

Well equipped and family friendly lodge in a very genuine Swedish Dala-village. Large and spacious living room and double doors that open up to a big terrace with a slight view over the Siljan lake.
