Villa Calma lived up to its name and our expectations! Truly calming space and accommodated our big group of 10. Nestled between two beaches, it was a short walk to both. Each bedroom includes a bathroom, the Property and Private pool was maintained daily. Our host was readily available and answered our questions. Linens, towels, washer/dryer were provided. We had a great time here, thank you!

Our stay at this villa was truly wonderful! It was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, with a warm pool that was a highlight. The small BBQ was also a great touch. Our host was incredibly responsive and made us feel very welcome. We felt completely safe the entire time, and the security was excellent – we really appreciated how thoroughly they checked cars to ensure only registered guests were on the property. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

my stay at Anne's and Damian's, goes in to one of the best Airbnb experiences of all times :)... old school style stay, where people really share a space that is planned out for a traveller who is seeking a natural comfort and good energy. The reason I went to Las Galeras, is to be away from all-inclusive hotels and overpriced offerings of Puerto Rico :)... and I think I got lucky. The village, and area around, presents a great mix of beaches, hiking and civilized comfort... all of that is accessible by walking from Damian's place I could probably write a mini-guide :), but to make it useful for the next traveller, here my pros and cons: pro: - amazingly thought through living space, kitchen and territory!!!!! - kind, caring and interesting host - safe location and environment, perfect location i think cons (more like heads up that din't bother me): - music from the bars can be heard slightly - note that there is no air con ( i loved it :), but for some might be a problem) loved it

I really enjoyed my first visit to the DR at Alex’s place. The resort was great for families and people of all ages. It was quite large, but there were shuttles that ran regularly if you wanted to explore the grounds. VIP was okay- you will never get a buzz off the all inclusive alcohol lol so don’t go for the drinks! It is very close to the ocean and if you don’t mind all the harassment from the resort you can have a good time. They want you to buy, and in order to enjoy most of the real VIP treatment, you have to buy. I thought this place was great for families and if you are a smoker, it’s paradise. Smoking is allowed, but it is not overwhelming if you are a non-smoker because everything is in the open. I would come back for the overall value- the service was great for the most part, and I met lots of locals, Canadian and American tourists who made my stay more enjoyable. Alex was responsive to questions pretty quickly.

Definitivamente Vista Cana es un lugar increíble. La villa está de lujo, perfecta para desconectarse del mundo y vivir una experiencia inolvidable. El piscuzzi es espectacular y el lugar está lleno de atracciones: restaurantes, playas artificiales, lagos de pesca y hasta jugamos golf. ⛳️ He estado en varios Airbnbs, pero pocos como este. Excelente alojamiento, nos enviaron hasta vino de cortesía, es anfitriones. limpio, que se siente como un hogar, tiene muy buenos utensilios de cocina para las cocineras, el río aunque no nos pudimos bañar, se ve que en buen tiempo es cristalino y muy bueno para pasar una tarde de río. Todo estuvo excelente y volveremos a repetir. Gracias a los anfritiones.
