Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hiroshima

I really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb! It was close enough to the city to walk around, but the house itself was very cozy with lots of nature surrounding it. The host was very helpful to answer all of my question. We did have trouble calling taxis with the popular apps, but we were able to flag them down pretty quickly. Our host even called us a taxi after checkout which was very helpful. The hill up to the house is a bit of a workout, so stretch beforehand lol! I would definitely stay again.

Really nice traditionnal house close to Okunoshima island (5min walking from the ferry and train station). The host is really nice and responsive. The house is above a delicious italian-japanese fusion restaurant. The chief was really nice and helful.

We had a great stay, host was very welcoming, house is beautiful with lots of space and very clean. Host even left birthday present for our son which was very thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

Really an amazing stay. The room is just like a dream, with such beautiful furniture and everything you may need for your stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and kind. I highly recommend to get also a massage! I felt very relaxed and in peace :)

Nice place to stay and is in an amazing location. You can walk to any landmark and there is even a bus 5 min walk away. Loved my stay in this quiet Hiroshima neighbourhood.

Such nice people, the place is beautiful and old, so traditional, the beach is just a 30 sec walk away and so private, loved to have stayed for longer.

We had a nice time staying at Light House. The host Toshi san was very friendly, allowing us to harvest some of his home-grown vegetables and fruits. He also allowed us to stay a couple of hours longer on the day when we checked out and kindly took our suitcases by his truck to our car. The house was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We would recommend Light House to anyone who is interested in staying at a traditional Japanese house located on a beautiful island.

We stayed a couple of nights and were really satisfied with the apartment. It’s spacious and centrally located. Very high value for the price!

Beautiful apartment a few minutes from the bomb dome and peace park, tram access across the road and short walk to shopping district. Very good location and apartment is spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again, thank you for your hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay at the flat. It was spotlessly clean (probably one of the cleanest places I have stayed at!), had everything we needed and was very well organised! Check in was easy and Tsukasa was always very quick to respond. The place was nice and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We loved staying here and wish we could’ve stayed longer. If I was coming back to Hiroshima, I would book this again in a heartbeat!

Wir waren nur 2 Personen, die Unterkunft bietet locker Platz für 10. Es war für uns ein episches Erlebnis in Japan: So viel Platz. So dicke Schall-Isolierende Wände. Keine Geräusche (nicht von Nachbarn, nicht von Autos/Zug/…). Wow! Internet einfach unglaublich: 1000Mbits auf einer Insel auf der Insel Japan.. Für Pokémon Go Spieler: 3 Pokestops von der Couch. Besser geht es nicht. Küche: Großzügig mit allem was man braucht. Wir haben noch 500 Meter entfernt ein paar extra Zutaten eingekauft. In dieser Küche hat das Kochen hat richtig spaß gemacht. Zwei super weiche (fast zu weich) Betten (4 Schlafplätze) und zusätzliche gute Futons (6 Stück) gab es! Wow. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

Mari san is a wonderful hostess. Her place is easy to find, thoughtfully equipped, well located and clean. It is very close to public transportation, restaurants and convenience stores. Mari san was very responsive and helpful to us. Her guidance helped us to take back great memories of Hiroshima.

Spacious, clean, good cross ventilation when the windows were open, good shower, comfortable beds. A bit distant from downtown. We walked everywhere and that worked fine. Very quiet.

家族6人で利用しました。 宮島を観光してから市内に入りこちらにお世話になりました。レンタカーでしたが、すぐ隣にコインパーキングがあって子どもおろしたり荷物おろしたりとても便利でした。非接触のチェックインもスムーズでした。 お部屋は広くてベットも綺麗で素敵でした。 翌日は平和記念公園、原爆ドームに行きましたが、とても近くて便利でした。

Great place to stay! We really loved it here, super clean, spacious and a lovely little balcony. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. We were here to bike the Shimanami Kaido and this was a great location for that. Thanks for having us!

The place was basic, but squeaky clean and in the perfect location. Restaurants right in the same building and all around. Walkable to all the sights. And the price is right, so it’s a great value. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and the location worked well for our biking the Shimanami Kaido. It is just a few blocks from the train station, a large grocery store, and bike rental shops. The restaurants in the area are just okay but this is expected for being a smaller town. The property was fairly clean, a little dusty in some places but generally fine. The beds were not very comfortable - pillows were thin and felt worn down. Overall, this is a good basic place to rest while exploring the area but nothing fancy.

Great place to stay, amazing host that went above and beyond to get us the room we wanted and we really enjoyed staying here while biking the Suminami Kaido. Would recommend!

Wir haben diese Unterkunft für 2 Nächte gewählt, um von dort aus die Shamani Kaido Cycling zu fahren und dafür war es perfekt! Die Unterkunft ist ca 5-10 min zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt und 5 min zu den gängigsten Fahrradanbietern. Die Wohnung war sauber und hatte eine gute Ausstattung mit Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher etc., die es erlaubt das obligatorische Minimarket essen zu machen. Es ist ein kompletter Self- Check In und wenn man schweres Gepäck hat sollte man darauf achten, dass es keinen Aufzug gibt. Würden es für für den Zweck des Zwischenstops definitiv empfehlen!
