Great stay! The studio was very clean, quiet, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It’s conveniently close to DC, making it easy to get into the city without the noise. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location for a few days in Washington DC. Space is relatively large, and equipped with every comfort (including a washing machine and a dryer!!!). Located in an eclectic neighborhood, about 7 minutes to the nearest subway station. A tip to also use one of the shared bikes or scooters nearby to explore the neighborhood. This way, you can really feel how the neighborhood works!

My stay was great. Randy was friendly and communicative and the place was 100% as it was described.

Trish’s place was very clean , cozy and spacious! She is a very polite host and we would certainly come back if visiting Bethesda again!

Quaint basement studio with ample space and very roomy. Can comfortably sleep 2-3 adults. The most beautiful backyard. Has all the amenities.

Katherine and Bruno were great hosts. Always willing to help and make recommendations. The apartment was clean and cozy. A pleasant surprise was how kids friendly the place was - lots of toys and activities to keep the little one engaged. Their backyard is also quite attractive to slightly older kids than ours and they graciously allow us to use the toys and equipment they have installed for their family. Once checked in, they were quite responsive over text messages and were always available for a chat if needed. The sleeping arrangements are comfortable for two people, 4 can barely fit- but that's clearly mentioned in the listing. The only thing to keep in mind - if the weather is changing drastically throughout your stay- too hot/cold- as it did in our case, make sure to communicate your preference for the AC/heating. Some of that control needs to be adjusted by them, so be mindful and let them know at a reasonable hour - they will gladly adjust things to your preference and comfort

The place has all the amenities like cooking, great shower, has a washing machine and dryer. Has netflix access so you wont bored. Easy access to highways. The neighborhood is very quiet and felt safe. We have a great time staying in this place.

Rozina was an amaing host; communicative, friendly and flexible. Check in was easy and the intior was clean and cozy yet Modern. The shower was really cool and snacks were provided. Unfortunately the location was awful. We were very disappointed. The Airbnb is a couple of feet from a major road and the road noise was extremely loud and heard clearly all night in the bedroom, which effected our sleep. We were also close to unsafe neighbors and unfinished roads/construction. The bed also creaked with any small movement. Overall our stay was pleasant but do not stay here if you are a light sleeper.

Rolando is a great host-very friendly and responsive. We had several very nice conversations and were quite impressed with his garden. The apartment was quiet and very well furnished. The location is perfect--although the street is very quiet, it is walkable to Wheaton Mall (including a Costco and Giant supermarket), a huge variety of ethnic restaurants, and the Wheaton Metro Station. All in all, I highly recommend a stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay for two nights with Olu. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The spacious apartment was beautifully maintained, featuring all new appliances in a well-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and comfy couches that made the space feel extra home-like. The bed was not only super comfortable, but it was also adjustable which added a touch of luxury. I especially loved the nice hot bath I was able to enjoy—such a relaxing way to end a day! Olu was a gracious and thoughtful host, and everything was just as described (if not better). This was the perfect place for my husband Arnold and me to unwind on Memorial Day weekend while visiting friends nearby, and we would absolutely stay again. We loved our stay. It was exactly as pictured. We appreciated the off street parking and the wide steps with handrail going down to the basement. Upon entering, it gave a warm and welcoming vibe. The bed was super comfy. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Nanyang Place—it truly felt like our home away from home in D.C. The host was exceptionally thoughtful and accommodating, especially knowing that we were traveling with a baby. She went above and beyond by providing a high chair, a crib, and even some baby food, which made our stay so much more comfortable and stress-free. The home itself was beautifully organized, clean, and welcoming. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure a smooth experience. We felt genuinely cared for, and her hospitality made a big difference in our trip. Thanks to her kindness and attention to detail, we were able to enjoy a memorable and relaxing family vacation in Washington, D.C. Everything about your home was amazing and thoughtful - from the peaceful outside living spaces, to the high quality bathroom towels, to the well stocked pantry, to the bottle of wine waiting for us after a day of traveling, and much more. Our stay at Occaquan was peaceful, relaxing, and very much needed. Arriving to the parking lot was a breeze, only because if John's specific instructions to find it, that was very much appreciated after a long drive. Walking into the place, first impression, looks just like the picture. The very next thought, "how cute is this". From the beautiful window behind the couch with a lovely tree to watch birds in to the cozy feeling of being in a familiar place. This place is quiet, surrounded with beautiful historic scenery, and has many local shops and vendors to spend an afternoon exploring. We walked down to the park by the water way and learned some history while soaking up the sun and the breeze of nature. I absolutely recommend John's place for a stay. I know I will be returning for a simple, relaxing get away, once again! Thank you John for everything!

Tucked in the heart of Bethesda with a quiet charm that somehow still feels central to everything, this stay was a gem. Getting around was a breeze—whether by foot, metro, or last-minute snack run to the 24/7 CVS or 7-Eleven. The apartment itself? Immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The internet didn’t blink, the TV was streaming-ready (a blessing for our nightly Netflix ritual), and we barely had to buy a thing beyond food. Rodrigo was the kind of host you wish all hosts were—attentive, responsive, and refreshingly clear with every detail. Winston, the building manager, was also incredibly kind and helpful. Bonus points for the cozy terrace, which turned into our favorite nighttime hangout spot. All in all, one of the most exceptional Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Would come back in a heartbeat—no hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure comfort.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. My girlfriends and I were in Washington DC for National Police Week & were looking for a place close to the city but reasonably priced. We found Chris’s place. It had everything we needed. It was clean, modern, just as described & came with a book of recommendations. The area is nice & we felt safe. Great restaurants. The bus & train r walking distance. We learned how to use public transportation instead to taking our car to avoid traffic and parking fees. My bedroom window faced the street so I could hear the cars & people walk by but when I turned on the fan I didn’t hear anything. Also this is a Renovated basement & have upstairs neighbors & can hear them walking around so if u r looking for a super silent place then this isn’t the place for u. It didn’t bother us. It has a private entrance and it was super easy to find. Chris was so attentive & helped with whatever we needed. He was an awesome host!

Cheri and Cliff’s home was immaculate! I will absolutely be booking for a future staycation! The bnb was so cute and they were extremely responsive! I was a little nervous that they were staying above the home at first, and despite the footsteps on the ceiling, there were no disturbances whatsoever; it will not deter me from future bookings with them! 10/10

This listing is just as good as advertised, with a convenient location close to popular spots throughout the DMV area. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated the free on-site parking. The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with modern gadgets that made the stay even more comfortable.
