We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

Bluebell Cottage Glencoe with Hot Tub

JustinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time here. The location was great for us (easy drives to Fort William, Glencoe, and Kinlochmore). The home is very clean and in a perfect location. We were able to walk to dinner one night, and we were able to visit great locations in all different direction from the home. Every drive is along water with beautiful scenery all around. On Day 1 we drove 30 min North, where we hiked to Steall Waterfall before having lunch in Fort William. Afternoon at Ben Nevis Distillery followed by a gondola ride at Nevis Range for some afternoon hiking. Day 2 we drove 15 min East to Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall, lunch in Kinlochleven, and an afternoon hike around Glencoe Lochan. Day 3, we drove 15 min East to the Three Sisters area, where we enjoyed our favorite hike of the trip, Hidden Valley. We also visited Skyfall Waterfall and explored Glen Etive. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m lucky enough to visit Scotland. Mary is incredible and a great host! Beautiful home!

Wonderful accommodation and hosts. The location and views are amazing, the house itself has a great layout with loads of space and very homely. The garden is brilliant, especially for children and the hot tub went down a treat. Alan and family were very welcoming and gave some nice personal touches which were greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Kirkmichael Apartments - Strath Ardle

EugenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The apartment has one bedroom with a queen size bed and another tiny one with a twin bed. The living room is very large with a well-equipped kitchen on one side. The hallway at the main entrance is spectacular and puts you in a positive mood as soon as you get in the building. There is available street parking at any hour in front of the building. Communicating with Audrey is very easy and she is ready to help and very flexible. The area is charming and we learned to appreciate it more with every day. Most probably you would have to drive around and the roads in countryside UK are extremely narrow and driving on the other side makes it more stressful. This was our first stay during the trip and once we got the hang of driving around, Kirkmichael is very beautiful with rolling hills and many wooden areas. Herds of deer roam around. We definitely enjoyed our stay in Audrey's apartment.

Alastair and Helen provided a 5 star experience for a countryside experience. The cottage was exactly as described. Cozy and comfortable, providing all the amenities required for a relaxing time away. Every attention to detail was made from cozy blankets to local tableware pottery. There was ample space for my dog to wander about and a lovely peaceful walk up through the croft. Tigh Dubh is sincerely a must stay and its accessibility to attractions is excellent. I would certainly rate this cottage as one of my favourite places

The Amazing Eigg Shed

DuncanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The property is perfect! Ideally located close to the island amenities (ferry, shop, cafe, bar) but also central to all the walking and scenery that Eigg has to offer. The host met us off the ferry and gave us a lift with our luggage to the property, and was on hand if we needed her during our stay. The property is small and beautifully formed! It has everything you need, and additionally has great views over the seas towards the mainland. It is on a working farm so provides all the fun of sheep and cows grazing around your decking area! A perfect combination of comfort and facilities, whilst very much feeling remote and peaceful

The Gardener’s Cottage with wood fired Hot Tub

SaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This garden cottage was straight out of a romantic fairytale! The gorgeous garden surrounding the cottage and the view of the water and misty rolling hills framed perfectly by a stone wall and ivy were just breathtaking (especially while sitting in the wood fire heated hot tub). The cottage itself was incredibly cozy. We had nearly gotten stranded on Islay with car issues and we weren’t even sure we’d get to enjoy this stop on our holiday. By the time we arrived, we were completely exhausted from the chaos of the previous 24 hours so this relaxing and welcoming space was exactly what we needed to decompress. ☺️ The cottage was well equipped and very clean! We had everything we needed and then some. Caroline was an exceptional host. She was remarkably responsive and lovely to interact with both prior to our stay (when we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it) and during our stay! Anyone with the opportunity to stay here, should absolutely do it! Thank you for everything, Caroline!!
