Outside, you’ll find a covered 7-person hot tub, a grilling area, a sitting area, a fire pit, a hammock, a canoe, and more. The dock has a swing, a jet ski port/dock, and mooring whips for your boat. You can enter the water by seawall steps, dock ladder, or jump right in!

Outside enjoy a porch with grilling area and a charcoal grill. 1 mile to Uwharrie trail, within 4 miles to multiple kayak launches, horse and ATV trails. The surrounding area is a beautiful landscape with a paved drive and is easily accessible with self check -in. So you can have the feeling of being away from it all but are actually in a lovely neighborhood that is close to town. There is an outdoor picnic area and plenty of woods for your privacy.

Our cabin has been updated, and features a large porch as well as a hot tub. **Please note that while we do our best to keep the cabin free of pests they WILL get in due to the age of the cabin and how it was built. Usually it is stink bugs, lady bugs and mud daubers upstairs and tiny centipedes in the basement bedrooms. If you do not like the sight of bugs this is not the Airbnb for you!**
