Experience Authentic Japan

Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Two of us stayed for one night with a friend for a workation. We had a relaxing stay in a quiet environment surrounded by rice fields and mountains. In the evening, we went to the nearby Sera Onsen and enjoyed a BBQ. We have everything you need, such as a BBQ set, dishes, rice cooker, electric kettle, etc. At check-in, I was greeted and guided directly. It is a recommended place, and I would like to stay there again next time!

A hallway is presented with a smooth, light grey concrete floor and subtly textured walls. Soft lighting from a ceiling fixture illuminates the space, leading to an open area in the background. The layout invites a sense of flow toward the living area.

hotel descansar/Designer space with lots of light and air/within walking distance of Imabari Station/4 people/A201

Rating, 5 stars1 day ago
The room was beautiful, and the space with a rooftop was fun.Next, I want to enjoy it on a sunny day. I wanted a description of the lack of toothbrushes as an amenity, and it was a little disappointing that there were drinks in the refrigerator that seemed to be from the previous guest.Everything else was very satisfactory.

A private island inn where you can spend a peaceful time living in harmony with nature

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very kind and warm host who was responsive and greeted us graciously. A wonderful stay at a large, clean, and homey house. All the amenities were thoughtful, and the A/C and shower worked like a charm! The host even accommodated us by taking our bikes in to the garage and opening it at 6am for us to leave early to finish Shimanami Kaido. Amazing and would stay again!!
A wooden deck extends from a charming traditional house, featuring a tiled roof and large windows. A person is seated in a simple chair, surrounded by greenery, while another chair is positioned nearby, inviting relaxation in a serene outdoor setting.

Auberge Yugashira

HazelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Auberge Yugashira is on the edge of the forested mountain side overlooking the sea, Munakata village and citrus trees. A charming and comfortable old style house with tatami mats, futons and big puffy duvets. Your super friendly and informative hosts live next door and serve you the most delicious breakfasts - home baked sourdough and brioche, homemade jams, honey from their hives and granola - on their veranda. Very welcoming place to stay and great base for cycling and hiking on Omishima and other islands. Local onsen and Oyamadumi shrine a 30 min bike ride away, and the wonderful Bubuka restaurant reached in under an hour on foot.
