Cottage vacation rentals in Hershey

My sister and I booked Joni’s cottage to have a nice little weekend getaway. We were looking for something with beautiful views and a peaceful surrounding so that we could read books and disconnect from work and life for a few days. This was the perfect spot for all of that! Joni was a great host with alot of spot on recommendations.

Our stay at Kayla’s place was amazing! The house is adorable, the location is perfect (very walkable), and it was easily one of the cleanest bnb’s we’ve stayed at. Very toddler friendly (aside from needing to put a few decor items out of reach) :) We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed 3 nights with our young grandchildren they enjoyed the pool area and the fire pit. (For the s’mores of-course) There was enough room for the 4 of us to sit and relax watch tv and play some games. The house is centrally located to the restaurants,entertainment,and sight and sound theater. had a great time away and would visit Ruth’s home again.

Place was very beautiful and was such a nice area, definitely recommend driving over to Columbia during your stay. Place was a bit more renovated than the pictures which was a nice surprise.

Nice stay over Thanksgiving. Kitchen well appointed and easy to cook in. Lots of room to spread out in the house.

Let me just say that I love the Mount Gretna area and our family has visited several times now. Issa’s place was absolutely fabulous. Her cottage is right in the mix of everything… Walkable, hidden among the tree tops, but tucked in with all the other historic cottages and packed full of everything you would need. She has thought of everything including three different coffee makers, grilling supplies, every toiletry you might need and we had forgotten toothbrushes. We loved her cute and quirky style and everything about the cottage was comfortable and cozy. We really hope to be able to rent again and so appreciated all of her helpful touches.

Our four days three nights stay at Paradise Cottage was a very special one. The hosts were very welcoming and stood behind what they had offer. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. As a complementary, there were very sweet straberries waiting for us on the kitchen counter and raw milk and brown eggs were also provided. She responded to our question’s without delay. We felt at home because there were utensils and products to use as needed. The main attractions were at a close distance as she had announced. It was a very unique and different experience for us. We are planning come back.

The cottage was very nice for me and my girlfriend to get away for the week!

What can I say? The location was amazing. The place was amazing. A little bit of peace in what can be a busy area. The house was clean and everything was as described. The WiFi worked great… It was the perfect base of operation to plan out a busy day and the perfect place to recharge at the end of the day. I can’t recommend enough!! Thank you!

The house was perfect for us. Very clean. Everything well stocked. Outside area was clean and well maintained and perfect for a family. Had all the amenities and more. Paid very close attention to the details to made our stay perfect. Hosts are kind and responsive.

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

An absolutely beautiful and memorable stay! From the moment we booked, John was incredibly responsive—his communication was fast, clear, and so helpful, which made the entire process stress-free. When we arrived, we were immediately struck by how beautiful and welcoming the home was. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and the space was spotless, peaceful, and full of warmth. One of the most touching parts of our stay was seeing Scripture placed throughout the home. As a family of believers, staying there while celebrating our son’s wedding made the weekend even more special. Being surrounded by God’s Word was such a comfort and blessing—it felt like a spiritual hug the whole time we were there. It created a calm and joyful environment that truly added to the joy of our celebration. The dining room, with all its windows and natural light, was absolutely breathtaking. We are so grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay again. Thank you, John!

We enjoyed our stay. We had s’mores over fire out one night. Wood was supplied. Plenty of towels Having one bathroom was not as convenient for 5 people but we enjoyed our stay. Grandkids enjoyed park across street. I would recommend. House was clean. Enjoyed coffee bar.

Beautiful setting along the river. Charming decorations, which reminded visitors of the history of the building, a one room schoolhouse. The combo lock on the door did not work, but the issue was resolved immediately by the host. No other issues.

A cozy in-law apartment in a detached former garage. In the country, but only 10 minutes or so from downtown Harrisburg, and easy access to the interstate. Hosts were very friendly and responsible, helping me right awaywhen I accidentally locked myself out. Very pet-friendly. A great stay.

Leslie's cottage was peaceful, clean, and certainly charming. Nestled in the beautiful countryside, it was wonderful stay for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were cozy and clean. The "third bedroom" is in fact just a single bed in the living room but we didn't mind. We stayed during the off season so we didn't have access to the pool but the backyard was beautiful and spacious, perfect for our dog to enjoy. The neighbors nearby had many dogs that would often bark throughout the day and sometimes night. We didn't mind since we're used to it but for others might be an annoyance for if you're expecting true silence. The wifi also was unreliable and often did not work if at all. Luckily we were able to make due with what signal we had in the countryside. Leslie was very polite, responsive and informative. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you Leslie!

We absolutely had a blast on our stay and this was a perfect home base. We had 4 adults and 4 kiddos ranging from 1-11 years old and there was something for all of them. It is usually stressful traveling with small kids, but this space made it easy and a safe space for the kiddos without forgetting about the adults. When we come to the Hershey area, this would be our first choice to stay!

Stacey was kind, responsive. and flexible and we really enjoyed our stay here. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun weekend. Everything was clean and the property is beautiful with plenty of space and activities onsite whether you’re there with family or friends. I would recommend this Airbnb and would definitely love to come back!!

Exactly as advertised! Quiet and cozy cabin that felt at home and was very relaxing. The fire pit was already ready to go for us when we arrived and everything was nest upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful, modern cottage. Host was very responsive to a missing item and even sent it right over!! Would add this cottage to my list of great places to stay in the greater Lancaster area.
