The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. Wonderful get away with amazing views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. All the necessities and more. The outside patio space was perfect for meals, games, and relaxing. Having a full kitchen and an outdoor gas grill made meals easy and enjoyable, not having to eat out saved time and money. And pet friendly made it that much more of a family experience. Lane's place met all our needs and she was a wonderful host. We would highly recommend her place!

PERFECT stay! Beautiful, cozy, stylish. Easy drive from Seattle. Lots of great hiking a short drive away, and a lovely island to wander. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, tasteful decor, and good shower pressure with hot water. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and inside in the cute kitchen. Dining room was lovely. Wifi was great for working (briefly thankfully!). The island community center had a pleasant pool, hot tub (little busy, but it was Memorial Day Weekend and everyone was having fun) and sports facilities (tennis, basketball, etc.). Nice fireplace with wood left for our stay. Incredibly good value. Just a perfect, unique, cool stay. Very peaceful and beautiful. We were one couple and two single adults, and it was ideal for us (one bigger primary room, plus two slightly smaller but equally comfortable rooms). Would have fit three couples, or parents and children. Could not say enough great things about this place!! We'll be back!

Alex provided a small house, consisting of one bedroom with a queen bed and a full private bathroom in the hallway. There is also a comfortable pull-out sofa bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen and laundry in the house. He has a strong heater and an air conditioner/dehumidifier unit. The place is spotless. Also on the property is a separate small dry/wet sauna, and a separate yoga studio. The design and aesthetics are quite calm and relaxing. The property is part of a large development alongside the southern portion of Lake Cushman, and you a provided a pass to use the private parks and docks in this neighborhood. The house is about 20 minutes away from the Staircase portion of Olympic National Park, and is about 7 minutes from the town of Hoodsport, which has a nice grocery store. There is a detailed instruction manual in the house, which is helpful to figure out how to operate some of the amenities. Alex was immediately responsive to questions. Overall, an amazing place.

A stunning location with beautiful windows and an expansive deck to take it all in. We enjoyed the views from the hot tub, and lingering over meals. The beds were cozy and everything was clean and well appointed. Each room having it's own bathroom was a nice bonus. Such a sweet spot I would certainly return.

Wow! We planned a lil family trip with our 8 year old and 18 month old. Thomas and Susan were kind and set up a pack n play for our toddler before we arrived! The property is gorgeous and has lots to do. The tipi itself is beautiful and roomy with power, tv and lil fridge with all the amenities listed. The bed is SO comfy and had plenty of blankies for the chilly night. The bath hut was amazing and the fresh water from their well is some of the best water I’ve ever tasted! Upon our arrival, Thomas and Susan gave us a lil run down of the property and activities like ax/spear throwing, the zip line and even a play area for the kids. We didn’t use the hot tub or sauna but they looked lovely! We would definitely stay here again!
