Our group had an absolute blast, the cabin was the perfect location after the crazy festival. Very comfortable and felt like home.

10 stars!!!! This place was amazing! Exactly as the pictures and the discrimination depicted. The surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful kitchen with upscale appliances. Bedrooms tastefully decorated with comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Fun downstairs area to hangout in. Beautiful decks overlooking the lake to relax on. Would definitely go back!

We found Carolyn’s place to be peaceful. The view of the lake is beautiful from the back porch. The house is clean. We were communicated with very well. She even checked to make sure we arrived okay and asked if we needed anything. She gave great instructions on finding the house. We would recommend this home to others if they are looking for a peaceful stay. The house is not far from some great distilleries as that is one of the reasons we came to visit. The surrounding areas are incredibly beautiful. Grocery stores are not far as well. We would visit again.

A great cabin tucked away on a private driveway. We loved the cabin and everything in the surrounding area. Linda was a great host. She is very organized and communicated within minutes.

We were only there for one night and enjoyed every minute of Anna’s place. The river, cottage, decor, seclusion was just perfect, I loved the train in high bridge. It was so cool to watch and listen to outside!! Inside the train just sounded like light rain-very peaceful. I also loved how you decorated the inside of the cottage with local train memorabilia. Thank you!!

Our group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was actually better than we thought as 5 of the six bedrooms had their own en suite bathroom. Really comfortable and plenty of room for all 12 of us - we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The outside space was wonderful. Very private with abundant wildlife. Everyone in the group was unanimous in how much we loved the place. It was out in the country but we felt it was a good central location to hit much of the bourbon trail. Well worth the drive. A comment on John's communication - we did lose power one evening with severe storms rolling through the area. I messaged John and he was quick in his response. He contacted the power company and power was restored within a couple of hours.

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

We were in town for a swim meet in Danville. It was very easy to drive there. The house was very comfortable with lots of space for our family. My son enjoyed being in the hot tub after swimming all day. John was a wondeful host! Would definitely stay again!

John’s cabin was perfect for our family. It had more than we needed to make us feel right at home and live comfortably for a few days. We enjoyed the big porch and the beautiful, quiet scenery. This cabin is such a little hidden gem and we would love to stay again! If you have the chance to stay here then book this cabin!

Beautiful property, centrally located to some of the distilleries and wineries. The home had great amenities like outdoor space, game room, screened in patio. The grounds and surrounding area were lush and green. Very peaceful setting. Great for hanging out after a day of distillery touring. Distance to Louisville and Lexington were a bit farther than we anticipated but still a great location to use as a start off point. We would stay here again for sure!

I visited here with my two friends and we haven’t been able to stop talking about it since. I can’t wait to come back here. The property is beautiful. The hot tub is perfectly set up to view a stunning sunset. The area was also very quiet. The inside is so unique and inviting. Very very clean and fantastic layout!

Great place. Beautiful woodwork and furniture. It's rare to find a 3 bedroom/bath so great for 3 couples or a large family.

Perfect place to spend with the family , we felt as home , the pictures match with the place , peaceful , beautiful surrounding , definitely we come back.

Perfect cabin for our trip to KY! Close to the highway to get to Lexington as well as surrounding areas, lots to do on the property, highly suggest zip lining! Would definitely recommend thanks again!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the airbnb and the hosts are always very welcoming and friendly. It’s a small area, but perfect for 2 and the view is just as perfect whether it’s morning, afternoon, or night. I stayed with my wife this time around and everything was very sweet and set up for us; wine glasses in the bedroom, incense and candles, dessert in the small fridge, even a percolator with coffee available for the morning. Joy, their dog, meets you when you enter and when you leave. He’s a bit loud but friendly and will play fetch if you give him the chance but won’t bring the ball back to you; that would be too easy lol. They looked up some places for potential canoeing or kayaking for us prior to our arrival and were always available as they also stay ion the property in the adjoining section of the house; but also allowed us privacy when outside resting from your trip in. Always a pleasure to stay with them and would recommend to any couple.

We had the best weekend staying at this adorable farm house. I loved how close the animals were to the home as it truly made it a one of a kind experience. The host was also friendly and responsive. I definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a serene getaway.

I enjoyed my stay here. Host was very friendly and flexible with my checkin/out. Very private, on the marina, lake view. Small curvy one lane road to get back to it though. The bed could use a new mattress. Otherwise, this place was great! 5 stars would stay again!
