A big thank you to Chantal and her husband for hosting us with rare kindness, their precious advice that allowed us to spend 3 incredible days in the region, and their pleasant house in which everything was done to make us feel at home. The furniture is great, a beautiful terrace/garden for meals or evenings, everything was clean and the house well equipped. Chantal makes sure her guests have everything they need! Beautiful house, very well equipped in a great location. Walking distance to the main beach in St Jean de Luz and close to the city centre and all shopping streets and restaurants. Manu is a very responsive and friendly host who did his best to make our stay very comfortable. The swimming pool and garden are great for kids.

Great stay in this accommodation located on the ground floor of a traditional Basque house! First of all, very warm welcome with conciergie near St-Jean-de-Luz train station ten minutes from the accommodation then discover a very pleasant, clean place, located on a quiet street and with breathtaking views of the Rhune. The space looks bigger than in the pictures and is well equipped. A pleasure to be able to stay with a pet, which is an essential requirement for us, despite the absence of a gate that appears in the photos. Close to all the shops in the city center and also close to bus stops allowing a direct connection to Hendaye and St-Jean-de-Luz in particular. We recommend and will happily go back! This house was absolutely beautiful. It was close to the beach. It was spacious and everyone felt at right at home. The children's room was a hit with the kids.

Corinne received us in a warm and very welcoming way. She adapted to us for the arrival time because we had a baby and the same for the departure. The house is beautiful. The presence of animals is THE most... the children spent hours outside watching and petting them. The location of the house is perfect…quiet but in close proximity to Spain, the big cities of the Basque Country and the beaches. The city has the necessary shops. We recommend it ++++++

We gathered at this beautiful, old Basque farmhouse for family birthday celebrations. It was ideal as it accommodates larger groups of guests. There was so much space to be together yet still have areas where you could find a quiet place to relax. The property is private, surrrounded by trees and with a gorgeous view over towards the mountains, yet close by Biarritz and very near to convenient shopping. We enjoyed having a lovely swimming pool and hanging out in the evening in the jacuzzi under the stars! There is a tennis court and indoor games, which we didn't use, as the weather was so beautiful. The house is very well appointed with lots of facilities and the hosts are delightful! They responded really promply to any queries and gave great advice on places to go and explore to discover the wonderful Basque landscape and culture. We all had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend!

Beautiful villa in a quiet environment! The villa is beautiful, very practical, each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet which makes it easy for everyone to be independent during the stay. The amenities are of quality and everything is done to ensure that the stay goes smoothly. Our stay here (3 days) went very well!

This house is beautiful Extremely comfortable bedding The little plus foosball the kids loved it. And of course direct access to the beach without the need to take the car. Nina's welcome was very friendly. I would highly recommend it

We had a great time at the house even though the weather was rather moderate. Even on a rainy day, it can be endured very comfortably in the great house with 14 people. The kitchen is well equipped and when the sun comes out it is wonderful in the pool and on the large property. The house is very quiet and the privacy absolutely respected. All in all an absolute recommendation!

Great house in a great location

Throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and we would stay again. We were 4 adults and 2 kids (3yr and 1 yr). The pool is so lovely and gets sun all day. Partial shade in the afternoon which was good to keep kids out of the sun but still playing in the pool. Walkable into St Jean de Luz which we loved. Amazing beach (with kids playground on the beach!). The house also had a beach umbrella and a beach mat (single). The house had some toys which the kids loved. Boulangerie’s close by - a few minutes cycle down or a short walk. Property as described, slightly bigger in person than the pictures looked so that was a pleasant surprise.

Arthur is a very nice and responsive host from the time of booking. He was very welcoming on arrival with clear information about the accommodation and the outdoor environment. The house is very nice, modern, clean, bright, very nice ceiling height in the living room and the bay windows overlooking the garden are very nice. We also enjoyed the proximity to both the Basque Country (Biarritz, Biadard, Bayonne, etc.) and the Landes (Hossegor, etc.). Also, if you have children they will be delighted to benefit from many board games and toys ;-) Finally the house is located in a small very quiet village and with excellent shops (second world medal cheese maker), wine shop, baker, butcher…. In a word, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this villa without a second thought! Thanks again Arthur for letting us have such a pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful week at this lovely place, full of 70s charm. Everything has its own style — slightly dated, but very well maintained and in great condition. We stayed with four children under the age of two, and they truly had the time of their lives. The garden is a highlight, with both sunny and shady spots under beautiful old trees — perfect for little explorers. The pool was still a bit cool at this time of year, but ideal for a refreshing dip. We also brought a small baby pool, which worked perfectly for the toddlers. There’s a barbecue, and the location is fantastic: great for walks, stroller-friendly, and just a 15-minute walk to the beach with 2 nice beach restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.
