Vacation rentals with beach access in Heraklion

A great stay in an apartment that is very close to the beach, restaurants and the town. Everything we needed for a short stay, and Fanis was helpful and quick to respond to messages. Thanks!

Our stay was amazing! The apartment was beautiful, clean, well-equipped and above all… the jacuzzi was a real plus! perfect for relaxing after a day of discovery in Crete. A huge thank you to our host, who was exceptionally kind. Always available, responsive and willing to help anytime, which really made our stay even more enjoyable. I recommend it 100%🤩!

Honestly the photos don’t even do the place justice, me and my girlfriend had the most incredible time here. George and Fofi are so lovely and accommodating, helped me get a reliable hire car for good price. We had such an amazing time and apartment and would love to come back. The place is quite tricky to find initially and up a very steep hill, so if you go the only thing I’d say is to definitely get a hire car! Really have nothing bad to say about it at all. Great place

We enjoyed our stay very much. The reception was friendly. George picked us up spontaneously and went shopping with us. Since we had difficulties with the rental car, George helped us directly to find another cheap car rental and announced us directly there. He gave us useful tips for our excursions. He recommended a great restaurant and even announced our arrival there. He provided us with new towels, sheets and washing powder directly on request. We even received a guest gift. The view from the balcony to the sea was great. Georges garden was also very lovingly laid out, where we could sit. The beach was within 5 minutes' walking distance and the most beautiful in the area with very clear water. We recommend the place 100 percent. If you book there, you should book a rental car, as the supermarket and restaurants are at least 2 km away. Thank you Georg for 10 beautiful vacation days. We will be happy to come back.

We had wonderful time in Ctete. Stavros was very helpful, give us a lot of recommendations for the places around, restaurants and bars. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, on a walking distance to the city center, very clean, well equipped with everything needed. I recommend this place and hope to return soon. ☺️

Our family had a wonderful time here. The room was perfect and spacious for our family and everything we needed. The little play set outside entertained the kids a lot and is steps from the beach and excellent restaurants. We had a wonderful time!

We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!

I had a wonderful stay at Filia-Maria’s apartment in Heraklion! The location is perfect—central and within walking distance to all the main sights. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed, from fresh towels and toiletries to a washing machine and a coffee machine. Filia-Maria made check-in seamless, even arranging for an early arrival, and welcomed me with a fruit bowl, local Raki, and traditional sweets—a lovely touch! She was always quick to respond and checked in to make sure I was comfortable. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Crete!

It was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views from veranda. Gorgeously traditional house. A step away from a lovely beach. It was up a short, steep hill, perfect for us but might not be for everyone.

Excellent stay, the accommodation is perfect and there is nothing to change. It went very well. We would highly recommend this rental.

Andy is a great woman and a great host, friendly, cheerful, we felt at home with her. Separate entrance, rest in peace and quiet. The studio is very clean and cozy, it was nice to spend time on the terrace full of flowers. She hosted us as if we were her closest family. I greet and recommend this place with all my heart♥️. Very comfy flat, super clean, white sheets and towels. Perfect location for shopping, restaurants, supermarket, meeting points for travelling, also very close to the port. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the balcony, feeling the city centre life. George was a very responsive host and supportive when a needed help. The refreshments and small treats were also a nice sign of hospitality. Definitely an excellent place to stay in Heraklion!

The owners of this place were amazing! They were so nice! The apartment is very clean and organized. The view is absolutely stunning from this place! Recommending everyone to stay here! Would stay here again if we ever visited!

We felt completely comfortable at Pamela's place. Communication was through her son Lefteris – he responded super quickly and kindly to all messages and even gave us helpful tips on car rental. The house is perfectly located: close to the airport, close to the sea, but still pleasantly quiet. The apartment was very clean and cozy – you feel right at home. Pamela herself is an incredibly warm hostess who lovingly takes care of you. 🥰As a special highlight, she even surprised us in the morning with a homemade apple pie!😋 My five-year-old daughter especially loved the short walk from the house to the sea – with fantastic views. Sitting on the terrace in the evening, listening to the birdsong, looking out to sea and watching the lights from the airport at night was simply magical. Pamela and Lefteris are hosts with heart – we highly recommend the place and would be happy to come back🫶☀️

Matthaios was really very kind and attentive. Always available and, if unable to do so for any reason, the mother or wife have always been present. The house is cozy, quiet, and very close to the sea (50 meters) and equipped with all the comforts. Easy to get to from Heraklion airport and convenient to get to the beautiful nearby beaches. Highly recommended.

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.

the place was very nice and Maria was very hospitable. Her mom gave us delicious homemade cookies. The house looked as if someone is still living there. there were personal photos and what seemed like personal items. looked a lot like a "home". We had a lovely time. thank you Maria.

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

Marianna’s place was great - we had a very pleasant time there. The view over the Mediterranean Sea is stunning, and the location is easy to access. Her mum, Sonia, kindly made us a local pie upon arrival, and she was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and it’s only about 20 minutes to the Heraklion city centre. Highly recommended!

To quote the TV program; location location location! Perfectly central to all the shops, bars, restaurants, the port and sight seeing whilst being in a quiet street so you feel like you are tucked away. The balcony is the highlight, being a nice social space to sit and relax with a book or a cocktail, or both! The kitchen is well stocked with all you need if you fancy cooking, and there is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away. If that’s not your thing there is an abundance of great local eateries within a 5 minute stroll (the recommendations are on point). The car hire company at the end of the street were really helpful. Lucy and Niko were the perfect hosts. We couldn’t have asked for better communication. We had a very relaxing two weeks away, a home away from home!

We had a really great stay at Hersonissos. The apartment was in a perfect position in the town and the host was extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue for me was having mobility issues the stairs were hard work, but I knew that was going to be the case and it was not misrepresented at all. So just be wary if you’re the same, but being extra careful to get up to the top sundeck was definitely worth it for the views - thank you!

I loved my stay, Georgia and her husband are the nicest of hosts and I felt like at home. The location is the best in Heraklion. 10 minutes walk to city center, less to nearby grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby, several quite posh. I could see the sea from the roof top and the hot tub was excellent. 10/10 experience.
