Centrally located 1 hour from Roanoke, VA and 45 minutes to Greensboro, NC. We have 4 Smart TV’s (family room and bedrooms). If you’re choosing to spend time in Martinsville, you clearly have options—and good taste and wisdom. This is one of the most fascinating places in America, and people like Leeland have launched a renaissance here. That’s reason enough to visit, but gear up for the Oakdale—it’s one of the best places you’ll ever stay.

A red brick house is set on a spacious lawn, framed by a large tree. The front yard features well-maintained flower beds, and a gravel driveway leads to the entrance, indicating easy access to the home.

This was an exceptional experience for my husband and I. Michelle was wonderful, informative and kind. We had not one issue the 3 nights we stayed. The view is amazing and this condo has everything you need to cook with, make coffee, and more. Super grateful for this experience at smith mountain Lake.

Our stay at Lisa’s home was wonderful. Very clean and the view of the lake from the balcony is beautiful. Check in was easy and Lisa was very responsive.

Just had a Fantastic, Restful, Peaceful stay at Country Blessing. The Photo’s not only are a 100% complete accurate portrayal of the space; it is even better in person. We found every room to be more spacious than the photos can show. The amount of square footage to move around is astounding. The Suite is super clean. It literally is brand new. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were actually so many amenities we didn’t get a chance to enjoy them all in our short stay. It was so quiet at night and exactly what we needed for our stay. We had a daughter and son in law graduating from VT and had numerous events to attend. We also had another daughter and family friend to visit in Christiansburg and getting back and forth to both places was a breeze. Tara was a fantastic Host. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Mill! The suite was far more spacious than we expected. Be sure to sleep with the windows open because the sound of the river reminds you of the beautiful setting in this charming town. The bed was very comfortable and there’s even a sitting area in the bedroom. We enjoyed morning coffee in front of the picture windows that provided a stunning view. We loved the restoration story and handmade features. Marcia was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable.

Susan is an incredible host and a fantastic cook—her muffins, scones, and soups are absolutely delicious and something I’ll always remember fondly. She frequently invited me for dinners that were not only delicious but filled with wonderful conversations and laughter. Tom is equally wonderful—he’s someone I genuinely enjoyed spending time with. We had countless engaging chats, and his company was always thoughtful, interesting, and uplifting. He’s truly great to be around and made my stay all the more enjoyable. More than just hosts, Susan and Tom became like family. If you’re considering a stay here, don’t hesitate—this is a rare gem of a place with two of the most wonderful hosts you could ever meet.
